I started playing in church and played for about 20 year till I stopped for about 7. I'm 43 years old now and Ive just recently started back playing (rediscovering my passion for music in general) I've learned so much just watching these 3 videos and have been inspired even more and I want to thank everyone involved in creating, producing and posting this event/ class session 🙌🏾 👏🏾 ❤️ Thank you from the bottom of my heart💯🥁🎵🎶🎼🎧
This is priceless intel Bro! One thing I echo is that when you're playing with vocalists, it's always great to learn the lyrics and all the parts so you're singing them in your head in addition to all the lines the band may play. Lyrical grooves and the ability to tastefully execute them sets drummers apart. It's all about your individual ideas but how those add to the whole!
I'm trying to learn how to play alone with you. Only if I can get your intro starts on live concerts. Calvin I have a question. I'm 56 Yrs old now. Need A Word of Advice. How can I get back into the game of playing drums after I've raised my family. I need a start on who's doing what and where. Ooh And I play Roland TD50K E Kit. I really miss my acoustics
That includes some rudements I can't play I challenge myself to do it only because I'm a perfectionist at everything I do no matter what it is in life I push myself to be a better Drummer
I keep having this dream that CALVIN RODGERS, ERIC MOORE and CHRIS COLEMAN are locked in my basement with a 8 piece Maplewood Set and unlimited drum sticks and they each take 8 hour shifts playing drums!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Mr Rogers can get it super faster than that with the double pedels
James Franklin the music he plays doesn't require double pedals...
Teddy Grant but he uses double pedals sometimes
