You guys hit a home run with this RTR budget truck! Abby totally tore up Bash Mountain with hers, but I actually beat the Bash Queen for once!! Had so much fun making our video with ours 👍💯😎⚓️
Getting back into the RC hobby with this truck. This will be my first Arrma and first time building a kit. I can't wait to upgrade it to brushless and mix match the purple, orange and yellow parts!
Just awesome scale and price. You make it impossible to just get one which we like. Bringing it to the skate park was genius so thank you for that. CAN NOT WAIT!!
Arrma. You need to address the durability of the body and do a version 2. The van body was a good call for the Gorgon. It just needs to be a bit tougher.
Can we have a 1/5 scale like those or a 1/5 Big rock let's go arrma awesome video and i wish it was brushless come on arrma you are post to be fastest in the game well where traxxas wins let's go but i love traxxas and i love arrma awesome videos and stay safe ✌️
Plastic motor mount wont be able to handle the power from a brushless. Maybe a few speed runs, but that motor mount cracks if you just look at it wrong.
congrats! looks promissing and shows that is possible for a top brand to compete with chinese products in price department. It will be my first big branded rc
Let's just hope they release it over here, it looks like it's based on the Granite Voltz which you can only get state side. So fingers crossed they'll release it here!
@@Big_Gazzz-RC it's peaked my curiosity, even if only 2wd it's looks brilliant for the money, lot cheaper than a losi grave digger and much tougher then a Tamiya thingmabob 👍 definitely worth the buy.
I think Arrma released this for the sole purpose to drop a 5th scale 8s 4x4 version down the road and not be called out for copying the xmaxx. Ehhh? Would be awesome! Bash on RC fam!
a Granite Voltage dressed up. If it has the same plastic diff cups and gears then expect it to never have parts available and always be broke. Also Explains why its not brushless.
I think it's cool that Arrma sells this thing as a kit...but...why does the kit come with cheap Electronics and why is there no clear body? Why do I have to buy it for another 40 Dollars? Painting a body to give it a unique look and better electronic parts are one of the benefits of building a kit, right? Instead of the electronics, put a a wheelie bar and some tuning parts into it! The 2wd Arrma Granite BLX was a great basher back then. The Gorgon could be the same.
Hey @Arrma... Since proboat can't get their stuff together.. And since you guys are the "kings of bashers"..... Can we please have a 6-8s bash boat? 36-56in hull.. AVC Metal sharpened and balanced prop. Heavy duty waterproof servo. Self righting. 60+mph Nothing cheap and flimsy for hull materials. If you do use plastic, it needs to be reinforced. Tall order, I know. But I'd love to see what you come up with! Thanks in advance! .
Well, thankfully, I picked the outcastn4S to build, and this isn't capable of surviving ancity bash with me. 13 rigs in 3 years and the TLR TYPHON is the only still running.
As cool as this thing looks, stay far away from it. Unfortunately it is the same platform as their retired Arrma Voltage lineup. They seem great for the money until you realize just how easy they break under even the lightest of use. The brittle plastic motor mount does not hold up, and you’ll constantly find yourself having to tighten the motor down because of how easy it gets knocked loose. Once you do this more than a few times, that plastic is just too weak and it’ll crack, resulting in the need of an ENTIRE new chassis. Love Arrma, but I don’t know why they’d bring back this platform without improving on the glaring issues it had. I know all of this because my son and I went through 3 Arrma Voltage Granites. Oh, and don’t even get me started about the plastic drive cups that strip out after running just a few 2s packs through it. Definitely a fun little truck when it’s not broken. Problem is it’ll always be breaking.
Even though it looks similar it is a new chassi design with different materials and components. We won’t know for sure how durable it is until reviews come out but everything indicates a significant performance improvement
@@pigeonqc4318 What Arrma says and actual reality is sometimes different, like false advertising on "1/5" scales. The trans looks to be partly plastic with metal gears inside the diff case. Plastic isn't ideal for 3s brushless. We'll have to wait to see how it holds up.

It's going to be a bestseller, I can't wait to order mine, thanks Arrma.
I like how they don’t even say the fact that I can be converted to 4x4
@@Nun3zDanny3 Because it can't.
Gorgon 3S BLX soon to be hopefully. But for now, brushless ready seems to be plenty. Especially for $140 🙂
so stoked for this rig!!! this price point is basically free and i love my 2s rigs
Forward arrma always special thanks🌹🌹🌹👍👍👍
It's look great, the body, wheels and tire combo with fluorescent ends sells me and I know it's arrma truff, a 1/5 scale would be dope!
I'm a big fan! There is always room for entry level models, there aren't many semi scale bash trucks out there which are like this.
Such a great truck simple affordable and tough 👍
We need the brushless edtion asap❤
This truck looks awesome
can we have a 1/5 8s gorgon please arrma
It's two wheel drive don't get it
just stand closer to the gordon then it's bigger scale
😂
Arrma never made a 1/5 rc. They did make some 1/6s and slap 1/5 graphics on a couple though.
@@nomusicrc What's wrong with 2wd?
Awesome truck for the price. Will be great for entry level people!
Getting back into the RC hobby with this truck. This will be my first Arrma and first time building a kit. I can't wait to upgrade it to brushless and mix match the purple, orange and yellow parts!
That's an awesome price for an Arrma Mad Van with a decent transmitter! Not for me, but this is a definite gift RC to introduce people to the hobby.
What's the price
@bigwigvideos I think right now at horrizon hobby it's 139 but it is pre-order I think
This design reminds me of the good old days lol
looks great👍
Really cool...!!
Just awesome scale and price. You make it impossible to just get one which we like.

What's the price?
$169.99 and it comes with a battery and charger

It looks great... perfect for the Kids to bash with me ;)
Wow, This is looking awsome, Fancy sending me one to review and send back, I'll only end up buying one anyway in green or black, My first Armma.
Brilliant 👏🏿
Nice arrma!! I’ll take two please 😂
AND you can buy it as an RTR or kit?? Absolute slam dunk, can't wait to review it!
both.
That's cool man 😎

Love it!
This looks amazing. I'm already planning on yanking the brushed motor. 😂
It's two wheel drive don't get it
@@nomusicrc I own both 2wd and 4wd. I love both platforms

Looks like a good budget option!
1/5 scale 8s 4x4 version of this would be badass 🤘
You're talking Raminator size. Arrma will never do it. They could make a 1/6 version and false advertise the size though.
@@truerc you are right.. I can dream tho 😆. I would be very happy with a 1/6 version.
so its just a arrma vortex voltage?
Luuuush!
Is there going to be a 4wd version of it at some point
✌🏻😎🏴It’s cool but why the 2 in 1 ESC & Receiver? Was it installed to save space or something?
This will be fun with a brushless setup!
It's two wheel drive don't get it
Love it

So that’s where the bloody granite voltage went 😂 fair play to arrma it does look good £180 hear I think

Are they all 2wd?
I'm hopping in, arrma, a 4wd exb 1/5 gorgon on 8s is what we need. Please. Monster truck!
We need a Gravedigger and Bigfoot Body ❤
❤❤😊🤩😍
the motor cables seem to fall of just by looking at them 🤔
kinda arrma voltage...

a Granite Voltage dressed up. If it has the same plastic diff cups and gears then expect it to never have parts available and always be broke. Also Explains why its not brushless.
Please arrma make this gorgon : 8s 1/5 4wd 🔥 !!
I really like the concept of the boost line. I think you really missed the mark on this one by not making it upgradeable to 4x4.

6s plz hpi savage flux type truck 😊😊😊
Moves kind of like an Axial SMT10 Gravedigger.
Move’s absolutely nothing like an smt10 🤦♂️
A 2wd independent suspension truck. Why can’t we get a real scale monster truck instead of the same chassis over and over
Looks like a bangood😂 special
Brushed 2wd? Complete trash.
id be interested WITH A 10 TURN SINGLE WIND 540 CAN BRUSHED MOTOR AND A REAL SPEED CONTROL RTR !!!! FOR THIS PRICE.
We need a bigger and more expensive better version.
Come on 2 wheel drive ??? Really ???? 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Not impressed
so a brushed 2wd with a esc and receiver combo and plastic gears and driveshafts what a waste

Why you don't sell it already with a brushless motor???
It's based on the Voltage platform. Not really designed for brushless. Although you can try it.
They say in the video that the transmission is built to take even more power, try it. They mean switching to brushless, no? @@truerc
