Favorite upgrades are the seats, then Kaleidascape. I recently compared a disk to streaming and there was a significant difference.
Awesome, yes, an ultra HD DVD will always be superior to streaming for quite a while. Still I believe.

Love it. Maybe add a PC to your home theater saw your kids playing games but have steam big picture mode or old emulation games would be awesome.
In fact if you could make a small shed be the entry way to your theater and add posters and maybe an arcade machine. Make it a man shed yard.

Looks great! I see you have some acoustic panels. Have you measured your room response? Do you plan on adding bass traps?
My entire riser is actually a bass trap, and I created a false wall and a cavity behind my screen as an additional bass trap. I haven’t actually measured my room specifically other than testing it through a mic and the REW software, and it balances out very nicely.
How much did the shed cost
I am building my theater outside of the house just like you and I am contemplating putting carpet or cork flooring. I am concerned about the dirt that will be brought in since its away from the house. I am also going to have a doggy door, so my dogs are also going to bring in dirt and grass. Do you have that issue and do you regret putting carpet in your theater?
I’ve never regretted putting Carpet in the theater as it is a nice sound absorber and it’s easy enough with my automatic vacuum cleaner to just schedule it to vacuum every couple of nights at about 4 o’clock in the morning and so we always walk into a nice, clean theater. I actually have a video coming out very soon on the automatic vacuum cleaner system that I use.

Alot of home theaters are designed amazing, but to me sitting in complete darkness and not appreciating all the craftsmanship is crazy to me.
But to watch a film with no visual or audible distraction is the whole point of a dedicated room. Plenty of time before and after to have the lights on and appreciate the workmanship. However the rest of the workmanship can also be appreciated when the lights go off and the sound and video is on show also.
exactly, it is the full experience. Before the lights go out, you appreciate the rooms atmosphere and then the visuals and sound during the movie.

Yeah I've said the same. I think its to lock down the files so they can be distributed outside the device. Studios I'm sure forced it to be tied to their hardware.
