They got their bag and left lol. The hours per video thing is serious because every video you post makes youtube more valuable but you might not get value/money/fame until years after even a decade later. Hours that could have been allocated to something that's more likely to get a return

This is such a valid point of view, this is why I always tell people who want to start a channel that if it's just for the views or money, don't go the UA-cam route because they'll be depressed.
