The total gym reminds me of the question, if you could only have one piece of equipment what would it be? For me it's a simple answer, the total gym in every way.
Well long before i found your channel i was watching John Peel videos. And i can say that one of the best exercises you can do to get in shape is the John Peel upper body workout. Which is doing a chest press, chest fly, & arm curls simultaneously... In that order! With legs ON THE BOARD. Stretched out flat in front of you (assuming you don't have back trouble)..but always on the board. It certainly does work your core! I do them usually 12 reps, 3 sets...depending on your strength ability and what sliding bench level you prefer. Whenever i gain weight, i always use this method of training. I'm 53 & it's easy to gain pounds in older age. LOL! Thanks again for another informative video! You are the man my friend..Keep the content coming!
Ha ha most definitely. I never would’ve imagined it myself that I would be buddies with Stevie Richards , but also talking about the total gym as long as I have.
Glad to have found the channel! I had a Bayou Fitness Total Trainer DLX years ago that served me well. Now, amazingly enough I just picked up a used like new Chuck Norris Fit for $50.00. Can't wait to get started. Thanks for all the great content!
That's awesome another famous person endorsing Total Gym! His posture really strong on it coming off surgeries. These form tips everyone can use from you. My biggest tip would be don't start on the top level where do you go from there? You need progressive overload put it much lower go real slow pace high reps and build up over time that's how you get the most out of this machine
Awesome video! I’m a fan of your channel as well as me being a wrestling fan Stevie’s channel too. I’m not a fitness expert but I try to work out whenever I can. It was great to see I was already doing the two tricep exercises just like you. On my stomach on the glide board then on my back on the glide board pushing straight down. Both allow a great range of motion. I’m always watching your videos for tips but using the total gym or in my case the weider total body works definitely allows you to think of exercises to make your work out better.
Thanks so much for the comment and for watching the video I really appreciate that. I definitely think doing the triceps on the stomach might be the best on this machine.
Loved this video. I purchased the swivels as well as the TG Chrome handles. Made a huge difference. Enjoyed your insights. It has made me more aware of the range of motion I'm using on a lot of exercises.
I love your insight on sliding bench trainers and just overall muscle building. You really have a lot of knowledge and share it so well. Also neat to see you working with Stevie Night Heat 🙌
I anticipated you'd be passing on tips but good idea to do it as a video. It has to be said that you're one of the few demonstrating how to use these machines well and with control. So many others fail to take advantage of the ranges of motion, angles, etc.
absolutely, positioning is everything with the t.g.itll determine yr range of motion,i hard to learn how to position my body,i have a bad back and use my t.g.to decompress my disks,i like lying down when training biceps because im targeting only them, same with triceps, but i agree 💯with the topic, once u learn yr total gym youll excell, thank mike👍
I honestly can’t remember, but I’m pretty sure that’s the price for one. I know it’s relatively pricey, but the thing is weighted for very heavy loads.

It's got to be up there for sure. I applaud Stevie for taking the plunge.
Awesome job spreading the total gym experience to other channels. ❤
Thank you my friend.

Enjoyed the video! I like that Stevie Richards isn't afraid to try something that isn't mainstream in the lifting community.
When I followed you, I never thought that you and Big Stevie Cool would be in the same video, and yet here we are lol.
Ha ha most definitely. I never would’ve imagined it myself that I would be buddies with Stevie Richards , but also talking about the total gym as long as I have.
Good stuff. I remember him a long time ago in pro wrestling. Glad to see he is doing well

Awesome to hear. I would have traded you for that Bayou! I want to try one out.

Which brand did you buy? The Auskit swivels are slightly stiff.
Thanks again Andrew.

I just want to know if I Stevie can make me an honorary member of the BWO
@@hybridresistance haha man I hope he does! I will be looking out for that video. Also didn’t know I could be more of a fan of this channel but I am.
Mma legend Erik Paulson swears by total gym. He even jokes that no one believes him that it's a great machine.
That's awesome to know. Been a long time since I heard that name. Would love to hear where you heard that.
@@hybridresistance Eddie Bravo's look into it podcast
some solid looking tips
Thanks brother.
Thanks, mine just arrived this video will help!
Awesome to hear!

Thanks Nick so much for that comment. Happy Stevie let me use him and his footage for this video.

That's a good point Elad on one of the benefits of going inverted for people's backs.
6:16 Right. That definitely aggravates the arms. It really looks like the cables are digging into Stevie Richards arms
I know some people have told me that actually prefer cable over the arms.
Mike is the swivel a set of two or or each unit? The Amazon site doesn’t really say if each unit at that price or we get two of them at that price.

Hope you can make a review of the INNODIGYM P1 PRO..a new smartgym just starting so I can decide if it's worth buying. Thank you
Stay tuned for that....
Well, there is always a "first time" for everything. Let's hope it's not his last time.
Amen Doug. Hope all is well with you.
