- Please subscribe for more! The total cost to make this is about $200-$250! It can travel at a speed of 40MPH and there's no license required since after all it's a "pedal bike". You start the motor by pedaling and you get 100 miles of distance on a full tank! It takes about 6-8 hours to build the "first one", then it takes about 4 hours with experience. You can also flip these at $400 a piece!

Finnaly i wont have to break my legs over starting the bloody thing
Hahaha I know right it’s so annoying
Update: the shitass breaks every 10 seconds due to the pull starter cable breaking
And the clutch assembly wearing out fast as f
Even i put some grease
Omg lol right!!!
Awesome I tried doing it at home but something went wrong and didn't work I think it was the battery but this is a very good tutorial! Will share
Wtf how easy is that !!!! ..bout to order 1 right now ...appreciate that bro
Thanks for the tutorial my starter is coming in a few days ......hope u and your family are safe
I just found out I could do this! I'm so happy! Thank you!!!!!
Thanks for the video hope you made it through that ordeal safe and well
I actually had to grind the pull starter inner hub down because without doing that my pull starter would not budge because I had no clearance for the outer cover.
Do you still have to clutch?
To ride
Well yeah ding dong
Well yeah u ding dong

Stay safe mate, and please keep us posted on the hurricane. 'Tis a 'swell tutorial though. ;)
LEAVE A LINK TO THAT MOTOR/ENGINE IN THE DESCRIPTION... i need it in my life
Stay safe , keep up the good work, and also great job on this video. When you get bored you get inventive to this is a cool video.
thanks for posting under such conditions.
my curiosity is sated while you life is in danger...
Thanks g makes it way easier to start
cause the 100cc nearly looks identical! if im in luck could you leave the actual description of the pull start & where did u buy it? cheers bro
What you refer to as a bolt is a nut. How do you back the shaft to remove the nut? What are the torque settings for the nut and the screws? How are you putting this up without a clue?
mine is different, there is no hole drilled out in the middle of spring loadewd lock
i guess i need to drill out the hole to bolt it on the engine
An example of how it works would be nice
How to remove the pedal start set up and install a pull start
Very cool. Keep up the great work!
I just bought a pull starter and put it on my bike motor but when I pull it it won't retract back in
How did you unscrew that part I can't seem to remove it!
How do you start the bicycle now you have to put the clutch in
great video, did you have any problems with it hitting the pedals?
make sure your pedals are at least 3 inches from the side of the motor wall
With the pull start u don’t need pedals
@@razeredytube wrong! Coaster brake???
Can u put a link to that pull start
Thanks so much good videobe ,because of u I can fix mine thanks garland
where do you buy the pull starter kit? or buy the pull starter? what parts where used from what?
Can you do away with petals
hey bruvva! im guna subscribe regardless! but is this the same goes for the "TDR 100CC MOTOR!? id appreciated the reply my bruvva!
how do it work ? how do you start with A CLUcth ?
But how did you remove the 14mm bolt
The only problem people will have with installing this is getting the bolt off and you cut it out
My question is how do I stop the back wheel from auto spinning after I install the pull start!
Adjust the clutch
Good for you. Here your max allowed cc is 49 and you need a special licence plate and a licence for that. All motorcycles and bikes like this one under 49 cc are called "bikes with motors".
Here's a big hint for ya. They probably won't pay the least bit of attention to you regardless. I've ridden my 80cc without any of that, and the police pay no attention to me. They can't easily visually tell the size of the motor from the outside, and it's not readily marked so there's nothing saying one way or another what I've got. The only way to tell is that I can get up to 40mph if I can get a good straight stretch, and even then no cops have ever looked at me twice. They've got far better things to worry about than a guy on a motorized bicycle obeying all the other traffic laws.
How does it work? If i want to start it without moving will i have to hold the clutch because it will stall or not?
Push with your legs
This bike and motor is my frist cheap one I have had no ideal other then I had to order some new parts from Walmart for me to repair some stuff on my motor but that's my ? About remove the pedal start and add the pull start
Hi,i want to kno how much engine oil use this for 48cc motorized engine.
How did you lock up the crankshaft from spinning as you were taken off the nut ?
Thanks for this video sir very helpful
I just put a pull start on my 80cc motor on my bike my problem is the pedal on the left won't clear any suggestions
I don't won't to remove the pedal just my nobody is having some problems withe hard pantaling do to my health and I need this bike up and running so I just need this set up so I won't need to patal start it every time I like to ride please can u help me finger this out for my motor and add the pull start
What dose that have to do with the way it starts the bike sorry I. Confused cause starting this motor with my patal is already hard to pantal in the frist placeand add the pull start how is the pantal I theqayof
If petals don't hit it?
when will you be able to provide the link my good sir?
How to start the motor with the pull start
Got a scwhin chopper added this and i cant pedal anymore lol ripped the skin off my finger pulling this
*Ohhh your the guy with the transformer bike & The BEAMER!??*
Lol yes!
Thanks. what about pedal clearance aftert imstall
Wide crank peddle system is a must or your peddles dont work
Great Video! 😉
Maybe I’m just having issues with the clutch itself activating and deactivating the motor from spinning freely or whatever but when I start my bike, the wheel spins in the back, so does this allow you to have a pool start where you can start at stationary without having to pedal first?
And or my real question is is the clutch supposed to turn the engine to basically having a neutral gear or have it act as a neutral gear where the engine gets to spin up and turn on and and function and then when you let go with the clutch you gear into Being able to move accelerate?
I might have to go take another look at my clutch or get one of these since the installation looks really easy and it doesn’t interfere with the taint tensioner that I have that sits directly on top of the clutch lever that your video is directly to the right of the pull
You pull in your clutch and then pull the pull starter, then get on the bike and release the clutch to start moving, taking off wears out the clutch a lot tho.
@@thirdeyesurvivor3886 are you referring to moving from zero when you like over the clutch? Because of that the case I can’t do that my engine would just lock up.
yeah, it’s hard to do but with practice you can take off from a stand still. You just have to slowly release the clutch until you feel the bike barley moving towards and then give it full throttle and slowly release more of the clutch and you will slowly take off, once your going maybe 5 or 10mph fully let go of the clutch and hold the throttle. You just got to practice
@@thirdeyesurvivor3886 practice in one thing, but wearing out my finally after what feels like a whole year of work on it two stroke engine I don’t know.
But I mean, I might as well still try slowly my issue is that my bike doesn’t really have all that much torque in it and I need some sort of intake for it.
I do however plan on replacing it for a four stroke because it’s not so much speed that I need in this very hilly part of Ohio that I live in it’s more that I need the torque to reach that 25 to if possible 32 mph without issue .
My current issue is that I can reach 20 25 mph on my two-stroke, but it starts shaking and vibrating too much like I’m over, spinning the engine, which I think is because there might just not be enough air going into the bike which I can’t really fix by buying the parts so I’m gonna have to fix it by 3-D printing part
@@gunbuster333SMSTIif the engine starts shaking at high speeds its probably not mounted tight enough to the frame, feel every single part on the bike and see if anything is not snug tight. What you can do is get a larger sprocket for the back wheel and that will make the bike a little bit slower but give you more torque. The four strokes generally have less power and are a lot heavier too
Is there a key starter or electrical way to turning on the 80cc engine kits?
Mine requires you to peddle to high speeds with clutch in and then drop the clutch and it will start
I am unable to peddle as I've placed it on a scooter
@@jamram7825 m8 its a bike engine kit not scooter. Idk i guess just buy a pull cord
K thanks
@Cash Quest I have not seen one for these models but for the 4stroke key start I have
i've had 4 go bad already is there an easier way to recoil the springs, not getting anywhere, i've watched videos, just not working out for me , screw that holds the spring in keeps vibrating loose, then the spring goes everywhere
Put some red locktite on the thread.
Thanks for the video.
When I install the pull start, can I ride without peddling at all; just pure motor?
According to what I've read and were told you still must peddle to get going otherwise you'll burn out your clutch
Call the lock washer and you can get it for like $0.05
When will you put the link?
Does the pull starter come in the push bike engine pack
No
Your an expert in everything, how's that possible? .-.
I've had two of those tabs take off on the inside as soon as the engine kicks back when it dies
Where do i buy this?
I am having trouble with mine I have everything attached correctly but my pull start is very tight. And hard to pull
Sam N, so is mine I think it’s the motor how it requires a lot of power to overcome the compression stroke, Iam able to start it with the drill though (using and adapter bit)
Los Ojos De HotSpanish I got mine started but the handle broke so I am building a coustom one out of PVC
Los Ojos De HotSpanish I got mine working and had to make a homemade pull handle mine broke I also took out the rope that came with it and used paracord and how did you do it with a drill?
Sam N it’s really simple you use a drill bit adapter to half inch socket (www.ebay.com/itm/263427383834) and then you just use a 14 millimeter socket to turn the nut where you installed the “pull start”. The only down side is that it spins so fast that the nut ends up unscrewing it falls off and i have to look for it and also it’s easy to strip.
Doing a video on installing a $14 pull starter kit without mentioning the fact that many (if not most) bikes will require the installation of a far more expensive (and labor intensive) extended crank set to make use of it might be a little counter-intuitive. Did your stock crank and pedals actually clear the assembly once it was installed? If so, that is the perfect bike for anyone that wants to a build a basic motorized bicycle with the option of a pull start.
Edward Emmons could you elaborate like with the link to the aftermarket crank shaft, I just installed the pull start and it cant turn over the engine fast enough.
He's referring to the crank set, not the crankshaft. The concern is whether the bike pedals will clear the new protrusion on the engine.
its so easy to just take five peddles and pop start it! and starting it pull style in middle of road i imagine you cant do it while on bike! why pay more and work more for more issues and problems!
The more u add on the more it cost, keep it simple u will have less issues, also u start adding cost for one lever hand brakes, sprocket adapter, aftermarket brackets nuts and bolts it can get costly , mirror, turn signals etc, the more u add the more u have to check
That bike is nice
Nice tutorial
Sir where can i buy that pull start assy
where did you get it?
is there a chance that the pedals from the bike will get in the way
TiedStatistic On mine they did.
can you do anything about it?
TiedStatistic you could get a wide crank kit for the pedals. It should clear it. My pull start broke so I don’t have to worry about it haha. The plastic handle came right off. Be careful when using yours
how do you pedal now with that sticking out
did you have to add a wider crank for the pedal or no
Tell you what I did, I took off 26in crank and replaced it with 20in. Crank have about 2" of clearance under pull start case
Where are y'all getting the pull start kit flying horse 80cc
Ebay or amazon like 13 to 15 doller also if you buy one put a penny in the clucth gears so you can take off nut make sure penny becase penny is made with soft meatal and wont mess up your gears
Where did you get the pull start from
With the pull start do you still have the option to Pedal start?
How did you take off the Nut? (The magneto turns is all, just wondering how you managed to do it)
Silent fast drill
Use old washer penny or screwdriver and jam into clutch gears to stop motor from turning then remove nut magneto . Remove washer penny or screwdriver when nut is off. Do the same wwhen tigntning.
awesome vid
Where did u get that pull starter?
How do I get one
Thank you sir😂
Is it the same for a 66cc?..
great video's 👌
be safe and stay safe
I wish that someone made one that wasn't so dang wide.
Sir can you still use the pedal even with pull start? Can the pedal still turn free
The pull start will make the engine a lot wider, which may block the pedals on your bike
Did you need a drive license to ride it?
depends on the state.. some states see anything with a motor as a vehicle. others seem them as just pedal bike
Android Spectrum No, but depending on the State you leave in you mite got to get it registered
@mayiandjay does this get in the way of peddling? I read some reviews on this product and many people said they could no longer peddle. Is this true?
If you don't have short or wide cranks, then yes, this can get in the way of pedaling.
Would this fit onto yd100?
Why didn't you show Step by Step ? You left Steps out I want to know everything.
So what about adding a electric starter to say a little 49cc engine that’s pull start. Is it even possible?
Anything is possible. All you need is an imagination
Your peddle would hit it for sure
I recommend you to instal a Mikuni 16mm replica carb
thanks for info
new channel name: TutorialandJay
where can I get one
China
Fyi that bolt is really called a Nut. But thanks for the video
Jay your channel has changed so much where's the intro music, goophones
I guess it was just too much to think he would actually pull it.
Question.. how do you start this? Hold clutch in and pull or let clutch out and start... I'm going to add this to my 80 cc
Micky Knox have the clutch in, if you pull it without the clutch in you can break the mounts
How do you remove the bolt, Everytime I try the entire assembly spins\
Open the clutch cover, and where the gears mesh, place a piece of hard plastic. This should allow you to remove the nut.
Just put a wrench on the bolt and tap wrench with a hammer keep tapping it will break loose. Simple
Dude that’s the exact same bike I have the fenders the tires the frame omfg did u steal my bike lol I have the same motor and everything I’d like to see the full bike how do u get the chain to stop eating the fender
Option 1: Grind apart of your fender away so the chain clears the tyre, option 2: take more links out of the chain to make it tight, option 3: buy a chain tensioner
Hi to everyone, I have the same bicycle and my engine wont get start I was install this exactly puller in hope that it will fix the problem, and its not.
