The judges definitely don't deduct enough for form. Ethan has the difficulty, but his form sucks. Kristoff should have won imo.

Because it's not "artistic gymnastics" there's less emphasis on form. In tumbling, beyond the difficulty of the skills, the execution is mostly about amplitude (speed, height, distance, landing). The form just has to be good enough to clearly show a defined position (layout, pike, tuck, etc). If you attempt a double-double layout and show significant knee bend (subjective), they'll downgrade it to a tuck. But as far as things like legs together, cowboy knees, pointed toes, or crossed feet, the judges tend not to care.
