Zhou Jingyuan deserves the gold, no question. His amplitude on the Bozar(?) and distance was just unmatched. Carlos' routine was wonderful - but the level of difficulty looked more like the 80's, than 2020's. Zhou is certainly one of the best single event champions ever. Right up there with Epke Zonderland on high-bar.

No doubt, caloy is now world class, and he will go down in history as the phil best.
He's come along way. He's definitely an incredibly talented gymnast.

I felt like Carlos Yulo should have won gold. I had never seen that skill where both hands are balanced on 1 beam. What skill is that called?

I think he should have gotten the silver but the gold definitely belongs to Jingyuan. His execution and difficulty were clearly better than the rest.

Lukas Dauser has higher difficulty. his diff is 6.6 while Yulo has 6.3. its the execution that I dont agree for dauser.

@@jdar00019If you hit the apparatus, it's either a -0,3 or -0,5 deduction, depending on severity of the error
Touching is -0.1, hitting is -0.5. Since it did not affect his swing, it would most likely count as touching
I love Carlos but I can’t stand his handstand shape, his rib cage is sticking out too much and it ruins the line

@@dustinyoung90 two things. One, if you don’t think Zou Jingyuan has the best lines period, you my friend are lost. Secondly, tell me Yulo’s handstand is a straight line… go ahead watch again. If you can tell me it is then you’re more lost than I thought.

Are you able to do literally EVERYTHING that you have an opinion about? That’s an obvious no. The funniest part is I can absolutely do a straighter, better handstand shape than Carlos Yulo.
