I was going to comment too, but you already said it. JC, you were the first person to actually say something really insightful : there is absolutely no point being upset about the price Jeremy decides to sell his fragrances. It will only come down to customers to know if they are willing to pay this price or not. I personally wasn't curious enough to spend that much, so I bought a sample on eBay... and now I know I don't particularly like the fragrance (spoiler : I don't really enjoy Aventus or Dior Sauvage either, so it's not surprising). But I've never been mad. Just curious.
Loved your 13 cents on this, and one of the best put outlooks on how to approach things (if it doesn't affect you, don't get upset about it and just move on). Same could be said in just about every aspect of life, and this was a good reminder to not be so critical of others, and rather be more accepting and positive. Thank you!

Jeremy is in the fragrance business now and not just the community. When you’re the new guy in business, everyone who helped you get to this point has to get paid 1st: perfumer, manufacturer, ingredients supplier etc. Jeremy himself might not even see a profit off of his fragrance for some time. I couldn’t pay that price, but I understand the price.

Paloma...what a pretty name! There happens to be a men's fragrance called Paloma Picasso named after Pablo's daughter that dates back to the late '80s or early '90s. In fact, it was rumored to be a signature scent for the late David Bowie. It's still available, and it's a very unique and cozy scent.

He was selling it for 60% off earlier today, I thought I'd give it a try, I'm not picky so I'm sure I'll like it. At $180 I wasn't about to buy it, but for $70 I'll give it a go. If I like it a lot I'll probably never have to buy another fragrance again as I've heard it described as versatile, and that's exactly what I've been in the market for, something of a signature scent. I have all the respect in the world for Jeremy for putting himself out there with this. I don't understand some of the other fragrance reviewers who seem to have so much animosity for him personally and this fragrance. I'll let other people determine their motivations.
@i SkyWalKing I respect and admire passionate, ambitious people who set out to accomplish their dreams in life and then succeed. Out of curiosity, how exactly did Jeremy con his audience? Did he make false promises and not deliver? Did he ever say his fragrance was going to be inexpensive? From what I've seen there have been lots of people who are perfectly willing and happy to buy his fragrance and actually love it. I have the same perspective about this as J.C. in this video.. I applaud Jeremy for his efforts and if someone doesn't approve of it they should just move on to something else that might make them happy.
We call them haters or jealous that he actually put a fragrance out and they don't have one. A lot of the fragrance community put heat on Jeremy for the amount of subscribers that he has and I call that jealousy. Like you said J.C if you don't like it that's your opinion but don't bash the man because he had a dream a vision and he executed his dream. Instead of taking all that hate and jealousy to be negative. Take that energy and go out and create your own fragrance spend your money your time and invest yourself into your own brand.

The reason why people were upset is that they would have wanted to purchase and try something from Jeremy, but they would have been expecting a lower price, so they're not haters, just people who are unhappy with the high price. I guess now that Jeremy realizes how people feel, he can start working on something that most people will be happy to pay.

I spray this yesterday after getting a sample I was not blown away ...but it was fresh and nice, I work at a luxury resort. The moment I walk thru the door the bellman said what are you wearing you smell amazing also front desk girls almost jumped over counter.....😳. Long story short this is long lasting and at times you don't smell it but it is there trust me. I'm getting my hands on this baby....I got 300 dollars fragrances that never gathered complements.✌️

It’s not necessarily over priced if one can afford it. I’m on a beer budget but pick my ‘champagne’ battles such as AHSEE. Took me some time to save for it but I now have it. Unfortunately I have too many frags that sound similar to this so this ‘Champaign’ frag won’t be on my want list

Jeremy Fragrance would make a fragrance brand based on his favorite brands and fragrances in smell vibe. Office for Men seems to be a mixture of all his favorite fragrances that he has reviewed. You can get an Aventus, Dior Suavage, and Blue de Chanel vibe probably all in one.

My summer best cologne is FERRARI Bright Noroli .my best winter fragrance would be 24 Gold Elixier. Fall- FERRARI Oud. Spring-Like Berg Twice. I gave you a shout out in my retirement video. You were fair and I agree. Most admit that when I'm very cynical when a reviewer wants to use their "fame" to start making perfumes. Jeremy started it, now Redolescence and a British Reviewer are getting into the money bandwagon... plus a few others seem ready to start too. On one hand I can't blame them since it's the same thing celebrities do all the time and it's probably more of a reviewing business for them them but I think it cheapens the "community".
Carl Granados i get what you are saying but im fully support redolescense and Mr Smelly on their journey making their own frags, definately seems like they take a totally different approach than jeremy which is good
I support them. How can I begrudge someone making a living or trying to get ahead but I doubt I'll be trying their fragrances just because I like their reviews. It will also be hard to trust the reviews of other reviewers to their fragrances because they will not want to offend them, their fans, and they will want to keep the reviewer from attacking them in some way. In other words they will not want to start a war among reviewers. Keep up the good work.
I like ur simplicity and positive attitude all the time but please dont think that everyone criticizing something is a hater for no reason. if criticizing something means hating then there would have been nothing called criticism. Every company puts efforts to make and market a fragrance and not everyone starts with already established empire or financial bakc up we know that but that doesn't mean we have to accept whatever they present and want us to buy! There are a lot of reason many viewers/mature frag heads didn't like his approach towards presenting the brand and then the pricing off course. And off course i dont care about it and enjoy my things as u say but it doesn't mean i wouldn't be criticizing and point out at what i feel wrong or what is being taken for granted.
I like the way you talk in very calm and professional manner. Very good speaker. I totally agree with you about this fragrance. I bought it when very first batch came out and the price was much lower. I do enjoy it when I wear it and I appreciate the quality and I think it was worth buying it to try. (This was my very first blind buy ever done) But as you say it in the video, my first impression of wearing it, it reminded me of “Aventus” straight up. I don’t own it but I had tried before but never bought it because the price is not worth to own it for me. So the same reason, I don’t think I will buy another bottle of “Office for Men” after my bottle because I’d prefer to buy ones that are still good ones and affordable or at least I see the value for the price. I also agree with you that I’ve seen so many people commenting so negatively and hatefully over a bottle of fragrance. 🤷🏻♂️ If you don’t agree or don’t like something, I would just move on and find something else I can agree and enjoy about it. Jeremy didn’t force anyone to buy it nor like it so it’s take it or leave it. He is successful already even to be able to have the worldly recognized master perfumer, Alberto Morillas, to get on board to creat his personal brand. But that’s his life and I honestly congratulate him for that and I just move on to my life. I’m very curious about his “Date” fragrance but again, given the price of this “Office for Men”, I would not probably buy it unfortunately. But I found other many fragrances on the market that are much more affordable and very intriguing. 👌🏽😉

Especially considering its performance and likeability but I would NEVER pay retail price or even close for it...$90 a bottle is a VERY GOOD deal imho for this scent....however I do think presentation should be better for even the $90 price tag....JC you are pure class as always brother.
Great review. You mentioned exactly all points I had on my mind when I tried it. I got 2 bottles (1 for me, the other is gonna be a gift) for 159€ which makes 80€ for a bottle - a very adequate price for this scent. It has its quality, very satisfying atomizer, but nothing new. In the opening it's an ambroxan-citrusy Aventus, and the drydown is kind of citrusy take on Sauvage ... very fresh from the opening to the end. If I should make a comparison with its competitors (ellegant masculine designer freshies) it would be: 1. Terre d'Hermes EDP 2. Acqua di Gio Profumo / Aventus 3. Dior Sauvage EDP 4. Office for Men / Dior Sauvage EDT
Well said... I think the consensus on this is that is a good fragrance... a compliment getter, long-lasting, but is on the expensive side... I do think that JF has a lot of haters (it goes with the popularity) but I think that there is room for negative comments and those who dislike it... Not all who give negative comments are "haters"... And I do think that a reviewer with a lot of followers have to say that they dont like it if that is what they think... its not about being a hater or about negativity... but his/her honest personal take on the same which is what his/her viewers expect...
I wish the original price would have been $85 or $90 instead of $180. It must not be selling for the high price and they have taken notice. Only way I’d consider purchasing Office is if I had a friend willing to go half on the buy one get one free deal, I don’t need two 100ml bottles.

I have all the respect in the world for Jeremy for putting himself out there with this. I don't understand some of the other fragrance reviewers who seem to have so much animosity for him personally and this fragrance. I'll let other people determine their motivations.
@i SkyWalKing I respect and admire passionate, ambitious people who set out to accomplish their dreams in life and then succeed. Out of curiosity, how exactly did Jeremy con his audience? Did he make false promises and not deliver? Did he ever say his fragrance was going to be inexpensive? From what I've seen there have been lots of people who are perfectly willing and happy to buy his fragrance and actually love it. I have the same perspective about this as J.C. in this video.. I applaud Jeremy for his efforts and if someone doesn't approve of it they should just move on to something else that might make them happy.

We call them haters or jealous that he actually put a fragrance out and they don't have one. A lot of the fragrance community put heat on Jeremy for the amount of subscribers that he has and I call that jealousy. Like you said J.C if you don't like it that's your opinion but don't bash the man because he had a dream a vision and he executed his dream. Instead of taking all that hate and jealousy to be negative. Take that energy and go out and create your own fragrance spend your money your time and invest yourself into your own brand.
It is also an anti-travalo bottle. You can remove the nozzle, but the tube is too wide for the port at the bottom of a travalo.
Excellent well balanced review, I get slightly different experience with the scent myself which I’ll be explaining in my review. Your articulation is on point.

I respect your opinion and you make some valid points here. You have to realize that when Jeremy asks people in person or in front of a camera, they'll never say it sucks or its overpriced. He's too big in this small community. Getting it for free absolutely softens the blow on people's opinion.

The reason why people were upset is that they would have wanted to purchase and try something from Jeremy, but they would have been expecting a lower price, so they're not haters, just people who are unhappy with the high price. I guess now that Jeremy realizes how people feel, he can start working on something that most people will be happy to pay.
Very well put. I have this fragrance and have trouble smelling it but... everywhere I go people tell me how much they love it. I get so many compliments that there is no way I can say that it is bad.

I also like Date for men but think it's more for the winter months or can you wear Date for men all year long. I wanted to ask you about Black Tie for men is that winter as well. I spray this yesterday after getting a sample I was not blown away ...but it was fresh and nice, I work at a luxury resort. The moment I walk thru the door the bellman said what are you wearing you smell amazing also front desk girls almost jumped over counter.....😳. Long story short this is long lasting and at times you don't smell it but it is there trust me. I'm getting my hands on this baby....I got 300 dollars fragrances that never gathered complements.✌️

It’s not necessarily over priced if one can afford it. I’m on a beer budget but pick my ‘champagne’ battles such as AHSEE. Took me some time to save for it but I now have it. Unfortunately I have too many frags that sound similar to this so this ‘Champaign’ frag won’t be on my want list

Sounds like a scent I would like very much. It’s the price that gets me. I’ve never paid anything close to $200 for a bottle of cologne ever.
I always buy used bottles, never spent over £100 but I bought Mancera Instant Crush 120ml for £118 this weekend.

Jeremy Fragrance would make a fragrance brand based on his favorite brands and fragrances in smell vibe. Office for Men seems to be a mixture of all his favorite fragrances that he has reviewed. You can get an Aventus, Dior Suavage, and Blue de Chanel vibe probably all in one.

You were fair and I agree. Most admit that when I'm very cynical when a reviewer wants to use their "fame" to start making perfumes. Jeremy started it, now Redolescence and a British Reviewer are getting into the money bandwagon... plus a few others seem ready to start too. On one hand I can't blame them since it's the same thing celebrities do all the time and it's probably more of a reviewing business for them them but I think it cheapens the "community".
Carl Granados i get what you are saying but im fully support redolescense and Mr Smelly on their journey making their own frags, definately seems like they take a totally different approach than jeremy which is good

I support them. How can I begrudge someone making a living or trying to get ahead but I doubt I'll be trying their fragrances just because I like their reviews. It will also be hard to trust the reviews of other reviewers to their fragrances because they will not want to offend them, their fans, and they will want to keep the reviewer from attacking them in some way. In other words they will not want to start a war among reviewers. Keep up the good work.

I like ur simplicity and positive attitude all the time but please dont think that everyone criticizing something is a hater for no reason. if criticizing something means hating then there would have been nothing called criticism. Every company puts efforts to make and market a fragrance and not everyone starts with already established empire or financial bakc up we know that but that doesn't mean we have to accept whatever they present and want us to buy! There are a lot of reason many viewers/mature frag heads didn't like his approach towards presenting the brand and then the pricing off course. And off course i dont care about it and enjoy my things as u say but it doesn't mean i wouldn't be criticizing and point out at what i feel wrong or what is being taken for granted.

I totally agree with you about this fragrance. I bought it when very first batch came out and the price was much lower. I do enjoy it when I wear it and I appreciate the quality and I think it was worth buying it to try. (This was my very first blind buy ever done) But as you say it in the video, my first impression of wearing it, it reminded me of “Aventus” straight up. I don’t own it but I had tried before but never bought it because the price is not worth to own it for me. So the same reason, I don’t think I will buy another bottle of “Office for Men” after my bottle because I’d prefer to buy ones that are still good ones and affordable or at least I see the value for the price. I also agree with you that I’ve seen so many people commenting so negatively and hatefully over a bottle of fragrance. 🤷🏻♂️
If you don’t agree or don’t like something, I would just move on and find something else I can agree and enjoy about it. Jeremy didn’t force anyone to buy it nor like it so it’s take it or leave it. He is successful already even to be able to have the worldly recognized master perfumer, Alberto Morillas, to get on board to creat his personal brand. But that’s his life and I honestly congratulate him for that and I just move on to my life. I’m very curious about his “Date” fragrance but again, given the price of this “Office for Men”, I would not probably buy it unfortunately. But I found other many fragrances on the market that are much more affordable and very intriguing. 👌🏽😉

Well said JC, I have a couple bottles of this. For the buy one get one free price like I paid, I think it's well worth it. Especially considering its performance and likeability but I would NEVER pay retail price or even close for it...$90 a bottle is a VERY GOOD deal imho for this scent....however I do think presentation should be better for even the $90 price tag....JC you are pure class as always brother.

Great review. You mentioned exactly all points I had on my mind when I tried it. I got 2 bottles (1 for me, the other is gonna be a gift) for 159€ which makes 80€ for a bottle - a very adequate price for this scent.
It has its quality, very satisfying atomizer, but nothing new. In the opening it's an ambroxan-citrusy Aventus, and the drydown is kind of citrusy take on Sauvage ... very fresh from the opening to the end.
If I should make a comparison with its competitors (ellegant masculine designer freshies) it would be:
1. Terre d'Hermes EDP
2. Acqua di Gio Profumo / Aventus
3. Dior Sauvage EDP
4. Office for Men / Dior Sauvage EDT

I do think that JF has a lot of haters (it goes with the popularity) but I think that there is room for negative comments and those who dislike it... Not all who give negative comments are "haters"... I wish the original price would have been $85 or $90 instead of $180. It must not be selling for the high price and they have taken notice. Only way I’d consider purchasing Office is if I had a friend willing to go half on the buy one get one free deal, I don’t need two 100ml bottles.
