My first two fragrances I bought as a duo were YSL L’Homme and YSL L’Homme Nuit. The local Bay was having a closing down sale and they only cost me $50. Didn’t even get to test them, knew nothing about them but the price was right and I didn’t have any proper fragrances at the time so I just blind bought them. They were fantastic. I leaned more towards the regular L’Homme a lot of the time, but at night L’Homme Nuit definitely shines bright. Both are fantastic. It’s been a long time since I’ve smelled either, probably about a decade. Perhaps it’s time to give them another go?

I recently acquired John Varvatos Vintage yesterday, it was a blind buy, but WOW, this beautiful scent caught me by surprise. It reminds me of a classy gentleman in a jazz club with a nice-looking suit looking dapper. I envision Billy Dee Williams in the movie "Lady Sings The Blues" meeting Diana Ross for the first time. This 100% 🙂

Honestly, I subscribed to your channel coz your review of John Varvatos Vintage. And here again, JV Vintage is your no 1 top 10 designer fragrance you can't live without.
I love JV Vintage and I agree it is a gentleman's fragrance. On me, the dry down lasts around 7-10 hours, depending on the weather (which is a tropical weather with only summer and rainy season). It's very unique and decided to make it as my signature fragrance.
However, JV Vintage has become a rarity in my region and I haven't found an alternative.
I really appreciate that. Its one of my all-time favorite scents. :)

Well I always have 4 bottles of Vintage at a time just to prepare for the worst case scenario, it was love at first sight for me too. Try Versace Man EDT (not eau fraiche), you might put it on this list too!

Dude ... you need to know the perfumes of "Sapientie Niche", a company here in Brazil; essences at affordable prices that leave many "niche" perfumes in the slipper. Ex: Overpower, Heroin, Djinn, etc. 😎✌️

John Varvatos is one of the most cheaply made frags out there. It's terrible and for those with weak noses. Varvatos is not cologne, it is toilet water. All of them.
