    fascinating stuff. Subscribed. When it comes to adding space in the high end I have used ozone stereo imager before. I was wondering if autopan was doing something similar in this case? (not an ableton user).

    • @BeckySaifMusic
      @BeckySaifMusic  2 роки тому

      Autopan is movement - imagers are phase manipulations to create the illusion of a wider sense of specialisation

    Becky- I love the way you explain stuff. I just found your channel today and I'm blown away at the clarity with which you are able to explain complex topics.
    I have a request. Could you make a video about workflow for optimizing cpu usage while also maintaining the ability to go back and change things as you compose? Do you have any tips for midi composition?

    • @BeckySaifMusic
      @BeckySaifMusic  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you! I have two tips for optimising cpu... bounce midi files to audio and freeze tracks. That will help massively. Freexing tracks can get a bit annoying so I would hust flatten them and get over the fact that you won't be able to back to make changes. Thanks for your comment. Sorry it took me a while to reply. Various life dramas 😅

    Great stuff Beckyy !...I have a question :- supose i have a drum buss and a bass buss ,i send both of them to e third buss called drum and bass buss ...in the drum and bass buss i want to hit the compressor with 1-2 db gain reduction but at the same time i want to have controll of volume in the other busses without affecting the drum and base buss ..is that possible in ableton to have a pre fader so that the input in the drum and base compressor doesnt change but the volume in the individual busses can change without affectin the input of the third buss ..is something like that possible in ableton ?

    So you do this whole processing on an exported bass stem? I mean, if im working with a sub up to 100hz (mono) + bass 100hz to 2500hz aprox more in the mids + reese bass 300hz to 2500hz on the sides, should i do this processing on the BASS group?? Individually?? Same question with your multiband compression tutorial! Thanks!!

    weird question, did you pick 5 essentials because people like "round" numbers, or was that the number you produced when thinking about this? (YOU)
