    This is great info, Becky. When I hit a creative block, sound design is my way through it. I start an empty project and make sounds with no pressure. The process gets my creativity flowing again, and the resulting samples and presets end up as useful instruments in future projects.

      omg same. literally the exact same. I'm thinking about doing a stream on Twitch again whereby I start with sound design and just create loads of parts first. I'll do it later in the day for the US night owls 😉

    Yooooo! This was very informative and in depth! Thank you for this one. Do your online courses cater specifically to D&b? Have a nice day, Becky.
    Oh and thanks for answering my question about duplicating down in piano roll. Really appreciate that. Feels bad because you probably cover that in your ableton course, so thank you for answering that for me for free.

    • @BeckySaifMusic
      @BeckySaifMusic  2 роки тому +1

      Hey no worries, happy to answer the odd question! They don't cater specidically to DnB, although this is something I can bare in mind for future courses. I'm about to start the creation of a new course, which could be more suited to what you're after. Keep an eye out for it. A few months yet, and I need to keep it a secret for now.

    • @KiDAppleBorg
      @KiDAppleBorg 2 роки тому +1

      @@BeckySaifMusic I’ll keep my eye out for sure new courses for sure. The answer was clutch because sometimes I want to copy several notes in a progression but I don’t have the space to duplicate them as it will overwrite the existing notes on that part of the timeline. So being able to duplicate down on the p roll where there is room or to add those notes as a bass is clutch. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

      more thoughts, i will create different playlists of your production videos, 1 for sound design 1 for percussion, etc etc, then when making a track i can refer to them if only to remind myself of things that are easy to forget to do. Each element such as your pink noise video should be offered to achieve a higher standard of music. I need to search your production tutorials for compression tips as well.Keep up the high quality vids, they are always so helpful @@BeckySaifMusic

    Becky, I teased you the other day on Twitch about “not knowing you were a DJ” and “teaching BassFanatik” (who I think is hilarious and a fine DJ despite his self deprecation) but I have been going through all of these UA-cam videos and absolutely loving them. A lot of it I already know, but lots more I didn’t (or hadn’t even considered trying.) At this point I’ve just got your channel on auto play at work. It’s great content, keeps me entertained, and makes the day less boring. Hope this comment finds you well. Thanks!
