As a Filipino, I am inordinately proud of PAL. It was the first East Asian Airline to fly to Europe in the early Fifties, to Rome, Madrid, London, Frankfurt and Zurich via Calcutta, Karachi and Tel Aviv. It also pioneered transpacific services to San Francisco via Guam, Wake, and Honolulu. It even had a tag to Mexico City, making it the first Asian airline to fly to Latin America. It's network, branded the Route of the Orient Star spanned 2/3 of the globe! I can't wait for PAL to expand its operations upon delivery of the A-350-1000s flying from the New Manila International Airport! I hope it returns to Europe and adds Seattle, San Diego, Calgary, Houston and Chicago!

So proud of PAL....I have loved you since I was a kid. Now I work for another carrier in my country but always keep a close eye on your development. The only criticism is your uniform. I wish we could make it more traditional. SQ MH and GA have the sarong kabaya or a likeness...it would be nice to see PAL do something less western and more cultural.
