Let me give you all the unfiltered experience. I initially searched this video because I, like many other men, think that they’re reasonably strong. What’s a “little” yoga to supplement my already existing strength! I was wrong, so wrong that I didn’t even make it past 10 minutes because I was near death lol. I went and completed the embark playlist which humbled me greatly and then completed the ignite playlist which built me like nothing in my life ever did. I today returned to this seemingly nightmarish video of impossible feats and guess what, I couldn’t believe I did it. So the TL;DR is this, connect with your body with the embark playlist and then strengthen that connection with the ignite. Thanks and great appreciation to bre and flo for this gift. NB; my back doesn’t hurt anymore because it’s strong now

I’ve been doing yoga almost daily since the beginning of the year. Found this practice earlier in the year and love to come back to it to see how I’ve progressed. I did about 85% of it compared to the first time where I had to stop half way and just watch flow flow.
OMG I couldnt do half of this! I never realise yoga could be so challenging. This resonates with me and I feel its just what my body needs during lockdown here in UK.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! My father is an orthopaedic surgeon and since the lockdown, he makes my brother(14 yrs old) and me (12 yrs old) do your exercises. It has interrupted our gaming but we have started enjoying yoga, my dad says that you are the best yoga teacher he has ever seen! Please make a video on yoga, but for children, it will REALLY help me
I was a champion gymnast in the 70's, now I'm in my 60s. This workout was really difficult, but excellent. Yoga is slowly restoring the powers of my youth. Thanks for this video, and #2.
I've been doing yoga for about 2 years. I tried Yoga for Men about 4 months ago and it was extremely challenging. Last night, i figured I'd try it again to check the progress I've made, and it was significantly easier. Still a challenge, but i made it through without dropping out of poses...and DAMN does it make me feel good. Thank you for this series!
Started practicing yoga somewhat seriously about a year ago. This was one of the first videos I did and at the time I had to stop so many times to give my arms/legs/abs a break. Today I finally got through this practice in one go (fell out of poses a few times and my low boats at the end were awful), but its crazy to see how a year of consistent practice can change your body and mind. Thank you.
I have been practising yoga since 6 months with this and a couple of videos. Now I feel more positive, confident, strong, more productive, waking early, more sincere towards my goals. It changed my life. Thanks for this.
I've done this one 3 times now and I still can't manage to do it without needing a couple second break. Ima keep pushing though. My favourite yoga class so far, love the intensity!
During in the middle of this session, I actually burst into tears. I wasn't sure if it was a common thing in yoga but sure enough it's totally normal. Thank you for this video so that I could not only physically but emotionally and spiritually detox. Namaste
Thank you so much Dylan. Comments like these make me so happy and inspire me so much to keep going and produce great content for you. Thank you for sharing this with me and us and yes this is absolutely normal and a very good and powerful thing. Haha, I did 6 months of Ashtanga yoga a couple of years ago and have been doing BJJ for a year. This was a really humbling yoga class. I bet Flo's resting heart rate is about 12.
I’ve let myself get out of shape pretty badly. Started running again last week, and was going to start strength training again. Because I was out of shape I decided “maybe I should start with a good yoga series to listen up before the ‘real workout’” I found this first video and dove in. Wow. Best workout I have ever had and I couldn’t even finish it all. What have I been doing all these years? I’m hooked.
This series has rekindle my love for yoga. I have been practice on and off over a couple years and for a while i have feel stagnated in my practice, the first session I did was de 22nd (the shorter flow of 20 some minutes) and now I did this one. i was humbled by this massive session and now i feel extremely to do my daily practice and try to be a little better each time. THANK YOU!
I gotta say I always considered my self somewhat flexible, but I did not realize how out of shape/lack of flexibility I am until I did this. I gotta say at first I was discouraged but seeing your other videos about yoga, it made me realize it's about the journey and if keep doing this/keep practicing I can be somewhat flexible again. Thanks for having this available for us especially during the quarantine.
After three months of quarantine doing your early early beginner video I stopped after an unrelated back injury. I decided to take the plunge with this one and what I really enjoyed was that not only were some of the stretches tricky, but it really made use of my body strength in a way that made me question if I wanted to stop or not. I like that feeling because when I choose to 'breathe through it' it gives me a real feeling of victory! I'm going to work on this one a few times before moving on to episode 2. Thanks!
Im a beginner, and just got recommended this channel, this was the first vid I opened..... Couldnt complete it, but I shall one day return and do it. Really good indicator of how much inner peace and body fitness I still have to gain
I have done yoga all through primary and middle school as a child. While I have not done anything like this in over 20 years, I can say that this is THE best guided yoga routine that I have found on UA-cam thus far. Yoga goes far beyond the physical realm and so the instructions on use of breath as a guide and focal point and references to meditation get bonus points. Thanks.
I've tried this after I did a few times his 22 mins for beginners video. It was a really wroooong idea. After 12 mins I have to go back there again. Maybe later, much later... :D
yup, had to sweat really hard through the session, but mainly because I overtensed muscles. I hope I am gonna get to the level where it feels more relaxing :)

I am doing only 15 min of this routine. Today's my second try. This is really tough. But I will succeed . Thanks so much. I am recommending this to friends.
This is such a helpful session that I come back to when I can prioritize thirty minutes to awaken my body and being. It makes a difference for me to have a male instructor and I appreciate the strength that it pushes me to develop in my athletic pursuits, well-being, and connection of my body to my mind and spirit. Peace
This is the video where the yoga journey started to escalate, I'm truly grateful to have discovered your channel. Sending love from South Africa ❤🧘🏿♂️🌱
I never thought yoga was for me. I was always into gym workouts and weights. With Covid-19 and all gyms shutdown in the U.S., I found "Yoga for Men" to be a great workout at home. At age 60 and an avid golfer, the stretching, strengthening, breathing and balancing through yoga keeps me physically fit for the game. Thank you Flo!
So good to see how much Yoga for Men has developed to this day. I believe this was the video with which I started doing yoga over a year ago. Thanks Flo!😊
Wow, I have some yoga experience but this is REALLY heavy! I can do about 8 minutes in a row, pause, and do 8 more... But I have to say, it feels good! So, challenge accepted: I will keep practicing until I can do this entire video in one flow.
I know i am super late to this party but have been following you both since December 2023. It has changed my life both physically and mentally! This definitely was a challenging 30 min!! I have done the other classes and look forward to more of the strength poses. I may revisit the 7 and 30 day classes again to be fully prepared for the Yoga for men classes (I am a girl, so hope it's appropriate to participate). I love how you stay consistent with the arrival, warm up and meditation at the end. Really brings a mindset to the day or evening. Hope to join the wolfpack after going through all the youtube videos. You guys rock!
thank you for this beautiful and challenging practice. i've been focusing more on weight training in the gym, less on yoga, only doing yin practices. this was a much needed wake-up, feeling great afterwards.
I have no knowledge of yoga. I am happy YT recommended me this video. With this kind of movements and mobility, I am sure it will help me with lifting weights. Good luck on your channel.
Tried your first episode today. Tbh it was difficult than i expected it to be. It was really hard for me to balance my legs. I realised how stiff n weak my lower body is. I think with practice, i can get better. I would recommend you to create an app which will show individual flows, which will be easy for people like me to practice. Content like urs with less ad, you will have a great app. Try checking "thenx" app, you may get an idea of what i am trying to say. Ty again for ur beautiful content.
First, I found it very challenging to keep balance at the stand exercises, but after 1 month I see improvement here. Thank you for sharing this great challenging yoga classes with us :)
Hey Flo! I just wanted to say thank you. I just completed a goal I made to do one of your or Bre’s video every day of 2021. At 41, it has changed my life in so many ways. Thank you for your continued promotion of a healthy and happy lifestyle. It’s exactly what we need at this time. My goal for 2022… handstand. Wish me luck! Happy New Year Flo and Bre!
I've been doing yoga for a few years and have been looking for ways to add some new challenges and this content is a challenge for sure. The only thing I struggled with was your pyramid pose but it was all super intense!
Cannot thank you enough for how much your practices have helped me. I had nasty sciatica pain, knee pain and this has helped me more than weight training ever has. Thanks!!!
I became a yoga teacher one year ago and keep coming back to your videos regularly to learn, practice and enjoy your inspirational way of teaching. Thank you so much Flo ❤
I absolutely love this flow. I feel very masculine and aligned after doing this. That transition into the yogic squat from the float felt like entering a new reality. So much fun, such a blessing to have you as a teacher 🙏
This workout was crazy, intense LMAO. Definitely gave me a good one and I feel so happy that I finished the whole session though I ✋ for one or twice and not as flexible as Flow. I keep on telling myself I can do this and that I’m pushing my limit 😄
Really hard for my 2nd day so i paused it a few times, fell a bunch of times in pigeon pose and some other ones as well, starting to love downward dog as that is my only respite during the whole video. thank you. I still have to work on my breathing though.
What you experience is what 99% of the people that do this video experience too. Keep up the good work, try out other videos, try out the 28 day yoga program on this channel called IGNITE. You will see in 1-3 months you will come back to this video and finish the entire thing while maintaining a calm breath. Great job!!
the main difference between Yoga and gym workout is the after-session impact. Gym gives me tense and sore muscle with limited movement. while Yoga makes me feel relief, light and totally loose up.
My lord, this is amazing! Never did yoga and never knew it was so hard, and yet he does it in one motion and effortlessly. I feel strong, awake and relaxed at the same time.
Thank u from South Korea! This video is good to stretch body and strengthen my mobility. and i cant do perfect! But do steadily, sometime, can finish this video's yoga, 'just' follow.
day 1- check. thanks, working through another back strain. I followed along and modified for my comfort. looking forward to progressing through the next videos
Whoever says yoga is for girls or old people or it's not even sports, you need to watch this video and get yourself educated. I almost died during this exact same practise and it's not like I'm new to working out. Thank you for the great video, it definitely helped me a lot!
I've been doing yoga on and off for 3 years now, but I started again 3 months ago nearly on daily basis. I've been using DownDog, but I wanted to mix it up a bit, so I went to UA-cam and found this channel. I thought I'm quite strong (DownDog practices go pretty smooth), but your practice showed me that there's much space for improvement. Thank you. BTW, if I felt out from some of the poses, should I continue to day 2 (episode 2) or should I keep doing this practice over and over till I perfect it?
the practice will never be perfect, there is always more to explore in the breath and mind. just keep practicing and explore other videos too. enjoy the process instead of being fixed on a "goal", since there is none except to show up!
This is only my second video of yours I've seen, and your style of yoga is exactly what I've been looking for all these years. It's slow, deep, strong and, above all,, remembers to focus on the breath 👍🙏😀🌞
I was skeptical of a male-oriented yoga flow but this is excellent. These poses truly hit some places in my body that normal classes do not. It was the perfect amount of strength, stretching, and time. Thank you !!!
thanks for staying open minded and giving this a try, glad you did. welcome to our channel and thank you for doing the practice to lift the universal energy of the planet these days 🙏

Why is it so important in Asanas or Sadhana to not talk? And the other movements, are they wrong too - and if yes why, or is just the talking is your problem?
@@wladynosz1565 It is not just my opinion... isha.sadhguru.org/us/en/wisdom/article/why-you-shouldnt-speak-during-asanas The first thing to do when you perform your Sadhana is stop your speak...the sanskrit lenguage is about sound, the meaning is for our understanding, but the physiological, psycological and spiritual effect of a mantra is by the sound. Hi Flo, thank you so much for sharing yoga practice routines and especially for these series. I have been practicing yoga for more than 15 years and trying to convince my husband to join me, probably for 10+ years. And only thanks to your channel and these episodes he became a vivid yoga fan with practicing yoga daily for the last several weeks. In fact, you 'bought' him by saying [in one of your videos] that 'discovering yoga was a game changer in your jujutsu journey' and this was the trigger for him to explore this practice. Now, I might have good chances to persuade him to come with me to a yoga retreat, hopefully, one of yours with Bre. If one day you could do it in Australia that would be fantastic!
This is arrantly gorgeous, sir! Thank you so much for sharing. I got into yoga because of Madonna's influence over the years. The style of yoga that I practice is called: Ashtanga Vinyasa. This is a very demanding form of yoga---I must say. Haha! Another thing, your tattoos are utterly brilliant. I think I may get some similar patterns / designs for my body as well. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your response. Ashtanga is a very traditional practice. This video is based on Vinyasa Yoga and a more modern approach to it which does not work linear but honoring functional movement and fascial lines. Thank you for watching and your comment! Keep up the practice, in the end it is all the same.
I am new to yoga and have done yoga every day for the past 90 days. I thought it was time to progress to something a little more challenging. This was super fun and super difficult at the same time. I am going to repeat this video until I nail it 100%

So good to see how much Yoga for Men has developed to this day. I believe this was the video with which I started doing yoga over a year ago. Thanks Flo!😊
There's a reason it's not called yoga for boys.

Same Here, awesome bro and challenging too
Mike Cohen Same!
Same for me! Never done yoga before, it is surprisingly hard and a good « workout »
Mathieu Bordeleau-Malo Ya this dude's a beast
Wow, I have some yoga experience but this is REALLY heavy! I can do about 8 minutes in a row, pause, and do 8 more...
But I have to say, it feels good! So, challenge accepted: I will keep practicing until I can do this entire video in one flow.
so proud of you! keep it up. i did not say it is not challenging, but as you said rewarding and very beneficial.
@@BreatheAndFlow Just made it halfway through in one flow. Taking a small break before I do the next half, but there's definitely improvement! ;)
You guys rock!
my first yoga class !
didn't even have a mat but pushed my chair aside & did it on my carpet
i'm hooked, thank you
thank you for this beautiful and challenging practice. i've been focusing more on weight training in the gym, less on yoga, only doing yin practices. this was a much needed wake-up, feeling great afterwards.
I have no knowledge of yoga. I am happy YT recommended me this video. With this kind of movements and mobility, I am sure it will help me with lifting weights. Good luck on your channel.
So happy you find it beneficial, that is all that matters!
I’m arriving from Ignite. This is definitely leveling up. Tough and meditative, a beautiful combination.
I love his thorough but patient style. Perfect when sheltering in home in San Francisco!
Thank you so much! Lots of love to SF :)
woman speaking! :D by far the best series i've done so far. due to knee injury i haven't been able to run lately, so thank you for keeping me sane!
glad women are here too as they absolutely should! great job doing this video!! 🙏
I've been doing yoga for a few years and have been looking for ways to add some new challenges and this content is a challenge for sure. The only thing I struggled with was your pyramid pose but it was all super intense!
I am already reading the comment section before watching the video and I’m excited
Cannot thank you enough for how much your practices have helped me. I had nasty sciatica pain, knee pain and this has helped me more than weight training ever has. Thanks!!!

Instructor: "Silently step your left foot between the hands"
Me: ...*hulk smash!*...
I'm going to do these everyday until I get it right!
“We’re not going to be on the hands much today”
amazing class! I feel my whole body energized after that
Just did 30 days of yoga on Apple fitness.
Ready to embark on your yoga for men. Did day one yesterday. Very intense. Soooooooo Gooooood
Ready to start rolling through this series for the fourth time in the last few years. Love it, keep em coming!
Thanks for posting my grandparents & myself love doing yoga & meditation coz it keeps my mind peace. 2nd year medical university boy from Malaysia.✌👍
Great this is helpful for you! Keep up the good work, and awesome your grandparents are also practicing mindfulness.
Amazing video bro!
Love you guys been jumpin' cause of ya!!
that was tough! great whole body workout. thanks for sharing
thanks for watching! keep up the good work :)
I stopped 6 times and this guy is on the flow, did only 90% ... Respect 👍
I became a yoga teacher one year ago and keep coming back to your videos regularly to learn, practice and enjoy your inspirational way of teaching. Thank you so much Flo ❤
Amazing class! I was pouring with sweat. Felt amazing!
Awesome! Great job doing the work!
Third time I've done this class having done the whole series a couple times. Getting better, but still not 100% completion!
Now can do the whole thing, thank you for your help!
Embark-complete
Ignite-complete
This is definitely the next stage up, I look forward to being able to complete it without taking a tumble.
Thanks 😊
I ve been doing this flow for almost two years now, still satisfying, this is how you got me hooked
I absolutely love this flow. I feel very masculine and aligned after doing this. That transition into the yogic squat from the float felt like entering a new reality. So much fun, such a blessing to have you as a teacher 🙏
I did 5 minutes of this yoga routine
It hurts
Not to be taken lightly
Excellent stuff! 🙏🙏🙏
Namaste bro - almost 4 months now I've been doing your classes 5/6 days a week and I'm feeling gooooood
Thank you for practicing with us 🙏 Keep it up! 🌈
I absolutely love following your flows! You remind me a lot of myself! Love the positivity!
thank you very much for practicing with me. more videos to come - we appreciate your support so much!
Awesome routine, 2nd week following your videos and I’m loving it! The yoga and meditation have already helped me mentally and physically!
18:55 yep that's my cue. See you tomorrow.
My cue was 7:47😂
@@Ahmed-xg5nj bro me too😂 shit
My lord, this is amazing! Never did yoga and never knew it was so hard, and yet he does it in one motion and effortlessly. I feel strong, awake and relaxed at the same time.
If you stuck these in a play list it would be super helpful to follow. If not I won't cry. I appreciate the hard work you 2 amazing people do.
not any time soon, but feel free to create your own playlist 🙏
@@BreatheAndFlow of course duh. What am I a newb? Thank you 😁🙏
Thank u from South Korea! This video is good to stretch body and strengthen my mobility.
and i cant do perfect! But do steadily, sometime, can finish this video's yoga, 'just' follow.
Awesome job! Keep it up. It takes practice and you're on the right track!! 🙏
This was such a GREAT intro back to yoga. Thank you! Great workout.
First day since covid shenanigans 😂
Ok, looks like yoga is relaxing. It's hard. First attempt:20 minutes. I'm hooked though. 👍
day 1- check. thanks, working through another back strain.
Flo, can you do a 60 and a 75 minute flow. That would be incredibly appreciated during this shelter in place.
we're currently working on some, they'll be coming on patreon (link in description below).
This is not yoga for men, this is yoga for supermen.
I love this class! One of my favourite 30 minute classes. I always feel incredible after this class..
Join Flo for a Vinyasa yoga class in Bali. In this 30 minute practice you'll work on twists, standing poses, upper body strength and have options to go upside down. This is a follow-along style class for you to practice yoga at home and not just sit and watch. Let's do this! Check our website for upcoming yoga events, workshops and retreats.
Are you serious? What are u doing?🤦♂️
First lesson: NEVER talk when performing asanas... or any act in the Sadhana!
You should learn yoga before thiching it!!!! This are horrible to see 🤦♂️
This can be a harmful gim for who listen to you.... for sure isnt Yoga.
Delete your video thiching... you must respect the sacred science, you are a fool
@@ilsuocavallopazzo Generally, if you are doing Yoga or workouts, you shouldn´t talk much, but if he wouldn´t talk, how could he explain the movements? Why is it so important in Asanas or Sadhana to not talk? And the other movements, are they wrong too - and if yes why, or is just the talking is your problem?
@@wladynosz1565
It is not just my opinion... isha.sadhguru.org/us/en/wisdom/article/why-you-shouldnt-speak-during-asanas
The first thing to do when you perform your Sadhana is stop your speak...the sanskrit lenguage is about sound, the meaning is for our understanding, but the physiological, psycological and spiritual effect of a mantra is by the sound. This science can works if you stop random speak... you can try to prove it one of the sacred mantra, the mantra of silence 48 hours is enough to notice the difference. Every Nadi it is related to a sanskrit alphabet, it is like move a valve for control pranic streams in your body.
Similarly an Asana is an allainament with the cosmic reverbarations.... vibration and sound is the same thing.
Hi, Is this video and playlist for beginner? Can I do this flow? Thank you! 🙂🙏
Danke Flo für das tolle Yoga-Practise :)
Thank you for this! Really accessible and still challenging! 🙏🏽
So happy you say that - that is exactly our intention! Thanks for doing the work!
Wow that was humbling. Have suffered with injuries and imbalances all my life from football and lack of care so hoping this will help me
that was hard but after of 3 days, finally I can do it, thnk u so much
Man this not for beginners 😂
You’re right. It’s for men 💪🏽
Dónde dice que es para principiantes? Jaja
😂😂😂
I am going to repeat this video until I nail it 100%
welcome to yoga! amazing job!!
