Thank you, I've used the mix before but without the vinegar and it worked great. I'm planning to use it on a piece of furniture that should go over a radiator. Should I worry about it catching fire then?
@@Cuiositycola That's the ones I use. I guess I should just get a voc cartridge for the respirator, anything more than a few minutes on the smaller stuff leaves me lightheaded.
Absolutely magic. Our beautiful dining table had gone all dull and scratched. I used this magic mixture and it's come up like new. Thank you so much.
I have used a similar recipe which also included methylated spiririts / denatured alcohol.
Thanks for the tip
Great tip, works a treat, thank you 👍
Wow! simple, inexpensive, and works!
Really great advice, thank you.
Thank you for sharing. Am also left wondering if the same was used for wood floors many years ago?

not once the linseed oil has cured
Can one skip the mineral spirits? Or perhaps clean with vinegar and then apply linseed oil? I'm a little sensitive to the VOC stuff
I'm sure there are several low VOC recipes out there.
there are odourless white spirits available as well

hi i am looking to take linceed oil that spilt on paths - would white spirit remove the oil and vineger
I would think you'd need a strong degreaser
What is white spirits and where do I buy it?
White spirits is also known as mineral spirits
Can you use this on wooden floors?
I wouldn’t as it’s not durable enough
