Good review, riding my third GS, my first GSA a 2019 Exclusive, brilliant bike but needs a better gearbox and they are very heavy fully fuelled at low speeds and loaded with luggage. If I had another I’d go back to the standard TE with racks but I’m looking at a mid range bike like the Tiger 900 GT PRO.

Thank you mate. and Thanks for subbing. Yes I think the tiger 900 GT pro looks a really good bike. I may be going in that direction after my s1000XR. Also I think if your going offroad then less is more. I dont understand these people who have these big heavy bikes then try taking them on offroad trails. FastyRides

Not yet thats for sure. I would miss the sporty side to mine. Maybe when I start looking at doing bigger miles. lot of money though.

yer i could tell that when I rode it. For me its not got enough sports side to it. I will probably change my mind when I do a big tour some day. lol

@@FastyRides Oh I don't know buddy. When we went to France, a bloke in his 60's had the 1250 GS and boy oh boy could he handle it. In the right hands, a GS can cut it with the sports bikes. This is a 1200 version, but boy, Mirage can ride it !!

@@tojj29 oh thanks, I will have a watch of that. My friend has a RT like yours and TBH I can barely keep up with him. At lower revs anyway.

@@FastyRides Mirage takes an RT on a track and kicks ass too !!
My RT has a disadvantage in that it carries a lot more weight than a standard one......ME !!!!🤣🤣
