Degasser removes the gasses dissolved in the mobile phase so that it does not hamper the stationary phase column. Mixing is done by the pump and not by the degasser.
Sir means in isocratic the composition i.e the ratio of solvents in mobile phase remains the same throughout running the instrument.. Whereas, In gradient the composition or ratio of solvents in mobile phase are kept in different solvent reservoirs keeps on changing... Have I understood it right?
