Get a Blaze King Model “King” wood stove! It has a bimetallic thermostat. It automatically opens and closes the damper. No electricity needed
If you run it with T-Stat on Low, you will never overheat the house.
You will also get 36-40hrs burn 🔥 on one load of good dry hardwoods

We actually bought a Rizzoli Italian model. It doesn’t burn quite as long, but has an awesome cooktop and oven, plus a water jacket to run our hydronic floor system. It has to be shipped from Italy, though, so we don’t have it yet.
