7:27 Trying to figure this out myself.....
Last update to Wand aided in maneuverability, believe early in the year.
Last updates to Techter since then were Techniques doing slightly more dmg and Talis' active skill (both way more beneficial to Force I'd argue), Summertime right?
Entire campaign started just to get people to play the least played classes according to their data: Fighter, Techter, & Gunner (Waker's down there but it's not as old as those).
Announce Customizable PAs & Techs.
Announce Class renewals starting with Bouncer.
Customizable Techs release as well as different versions of Wand's 2 PAs. In this case, it's not the weapon, it's the user. Better off not spending all that meseta for a "Better but situational which effectively makes it even" version of heavy hammer, lol.
Come to find out Force & Techter are at the bottom of the renewal/adjustment line.
By no means am I an MMO expert, but this is shining light on the stereotypes I've seen from convos and media about how Japan treats Heal/Enhance Support type classes. What's confusing is they wanted people to play the class one moment, the next it's updates only worth dabbling in a bit before going back to/choosing a better class becuase they have some of their own. It's intriguing because I play this game a TON and been noticed there's NO abundance of people who play that class so why xD?
Hmm, that games from other companies crossover, happens to be coming out when a critically acclaimed MMORPG's latest expansion is scheduled to release.
This would be a good time to revisit said critically acclaimed MMO with said expansion now that PSO2 is available internationally
Huh, I didn't notice that the story addition was listed differently this time. Could be a welcome change if they're being called 'story quests', indicating that they're no longer just cutscenes. They changed the story once in the past, they could do it again, and I'd welcome just about anything that changes from what they've been doing with it lately. XD
What I'm most eager to see with the new zone is possibly getting an expanded view of Halpha as a celestial body, and seeing if anyone lives in this place, meaning new characters to meet and potentially conflict with? Maybe we finally start getting a sense of the larger conflict/plan when it comes to the Starless.
We shall see!
Well i like the mech thing
You know Drakaina is Excited for the new zone.
Honestly, while the new zone and the potential AIS analogue being added is cool as hell, I want them to add a permanent +300% triboost to every single activity in basegame already. Being forced to just farm keys every day for leveling purposes due to nobody running UQs and Leveling Quests at difficulties below XH and UH is a pain in the ass.
I agree! Leveling up and farming for rare weapons, makes you want to claw your eyes out. This game just isn’t that enjoyable and you can get burnt out so easily…
Base is essentially on life support so I can't see them doing anymore with that. I'll admit that tribooat would be nice though
I thought we would be visiting other planets by now but we shall see in the future
Maybe this is the spring board to that.
Halpharian is basically experiment lab rat, they didn't even have high tech to go to space hence people suspicious of them having very low tech despite 1000 year in the future, perhaps once they found ARKS legacy hidden inside halpha and with the help of former Laciel operators I guess we will start from ARKS ship.
Either lot of big name Halpha ARKS will join the expedition to outer space or the remaining of the Oracle Fleet arrive to collect them I doubt we will see new planet anytime soon and will be force to play defensive role until we found a way to deal with Starless appear on Halpha
@@mickbotcast that could be it, you on point bro, awesome point of view 💯
If “Fighter Expansion” means “Fighter Rework”, I’m screaming at the top of my lungs in joy!!!!😂
Here's hoping it's halfway decent like the bouncer one. I didn't think fighter needed much help since to my understanding it's one of the strongest classes damage-wise right now
@@Zeomantic that is true, but I mean like the fighting style moves for all 3 weapons, maybe they can rework that😊
Unless they come up with more than just recycling Seasonal events and making high level gear
Dimishing Returns
I went be continuing
Also the Starless need to be made threatening again or ill consider them no less dangerous than hitsugi having a bad hair day
I hear that.
I'm pretty sure they based the starless from the tyranids from warhammer 40k.
The funny thing is that because of that the starless has also it's flaws like being brought to the story as a universe ending threat but never taking any Ws.
@Zeomantic if you like to do a search about the tyranids I'm sure it can give some video ideas about the starless.
Well , another half year in Halpha XD.
But hey dont forget they dont say everything in the roadmap so there could be surprises.
True story!
I really wish we get some actual meaningful side content that people can enjoy with randos
I’m excited for the new zone! But the new zone won’t fix the issues this game has…
They're working on those, albeit not at a satisfactory pace for some.
PSO2 NGS version REMIX that what shuld i call it... they recycle everything now tokyo city is coming with out any backup story or anything where the hell that EARTH morden city come from
its not Tokyo u can see on the preview video the buildings have arks writing. it my be an oracle ship city or the underground part of central city
it's an oracle ship from base game
That isn't Tokyo - probably not a proper ARKS ship as we know them either. There's another satellite above Halpha called Gayira/Gaira and people are suspecting it could be that.
Definitely lacking. Sure, new zone reminds me of PSO2 Tokyo town, which is welcome of course, but the new AIS-battle system is, eh, I don't expect much from it. I'd rather have them work on a major combat upgrade in regards to new Techniques and Photon Arts, because this is what the community is asking for over 15 months now. And while this customization stuff is nice and all it doesn't make up for the absolute lack of PhotonArts or otherwise new and fresh combat options.
I'll grab myself the Manon-outfit on 17th Jan and then just uninstall the game for another 6 months.
More PA/Techniques won't really help the game as most players would just use the meta ones anyway plus saga already did that in base and the most popular classes in that where the scion classes that didn't even have multiple PA/techniques. The customization probably works better since it was system from base.
they have said that they aren't adding more photon arts and techniques. while i do think that there should be more techniques, i do understand why there are so few (one mobbing and one bossing for each element just makes sense). and 4 photon arts is perfect, it lets you have all 4 on your main and back pallet while also having constant access to your normal attack, and every class has a way of altering their photon arts (like scion classes and jet boots, which also had 4), so in reality it's actually 8 - 12 photon arts per weapon.
@@spark9189 You don't see the irony in your own statement, do you?
When playing Force you usually just equip your weapon with mutilple sets of different elements and just swap to whatever fits the situation.
Could do the same with PhotonArts. Period.
It'd also allow for a more personalized playstyle, because unlike some other commenter was saying, not everyone is a slave to "Meta" in games. More PAs is definitely more fun. All I'm saying.
Would that "save" the game? Hell no; never claimed it would, but it sure as hell would be one of many steps that the game needs to take in order to get somewhere.
@@JohnDoe-kc8rq How does that matter whether or not people follow some Meta or not? Absolutely irrelevant. More options and choices definitely would help giving people to personalize their preferred fighting-style. That's never a bad thing.
It definitely would help the game.
@@EtherealRune photon arts are different from techniques in a few ways, namely 1) they are shared between force, techter, and bouncer, 2) there are still niches to fill for techniques (like movement techniques, melee techniques for all elements, and buffs), and 3) base pso2 had classes that had 4 photon arts for a weapon, and they were better for it. the same isn’t true for techniques.
