    non variant attacks for waker refer to the fact that you can hold down photon arts to cause a different attack to happen. the non variant version is the tapped attack, the variant version is the held attack.

      It allows Raid's uppercut to be used as a main attack which probably builds it's meter faster than the hold version but sadly the mark requires 3 hits instead of 2~ so coulda been better.

    Just a tiny correction on Foie Type 1. It doesn't increase the distance the fireball, but rather increases the AoE size on the follow-up fire swirl from uncharged foie, and the overall size of the AoE explosion on the charged version.

    Wow! Thank You for this! 🐼🥰🐼🥰🐼 sir i have question about the type 2 katana skill: Number of Final Bonus Hits +300%. Does it increase the number of hits? Or increase damage only? Sorry me difficult to figure it out...

    If you run a Rifle\Launcher multiweapon like I do, the Type 2s of Fallen Impact and Blaze Shot work pretty well as a burst DPS combo.

    I see benefit in Jet Boots type 3 because the other one requires you use techniques. I play with a joystick, so my techniques are on the keyboard, which requires I look away for a second, which leaves me vulnerable, but outside of my specific issue... I personally barely use techniques outside of switching my boots' element and busting sigils. It makes it much more convenient to only have to focus on my PA while still having an efficient charge in attack. The PA charge attack is useful, but it has less distance and is more beneficial for moving up or down at a shorter distance vs forward at a longer distance plus the dps you get off at the end. Plus it isn't anywhere near as efficient to use techniques with Bouncer as the Tech specific classes, so i'm guessing nobody mainly uses techniques, but I could be wrong. Type 3 seems like it should have naturally been a skill rather than being a part of using techniques. It just seems weird imo for a class not built around mainly using the techniques.

    As the main as Force, I suggest that elemental down factor is very useful for beating bosses. When boss is in elemental down status, players can do huge dmg.
    As wire lance user, I wait for other PA modifications coz I do not use the vertical turbine.
    I always use only 2 PA; horizontal spin and multiple hit.

    For Bouncer's Fierce Wave Type 2 its kinda nuts because it basically lets you charge up Jolt with just itself

      Didn’t think it was gonna be _that_ much of a duration extension.
      Since it already argues with Altered Surging Impulse (I think. The Ramegid 0 skill) for elemental inherit, the potency loss is probably not a big deal too?

    Small correction for Fierce Wave Type 3: you're right in that Jet Boots already has a chasedown skill, Thrust Drive... that follows up a _Technique_ cast. Not Photon Arts. Fierce Wave T3 lets you smoothly transition from Fierce Wave into Thrust Drive, a more effective gap close than Spinning Gust, instead of forcing you to interrupt your flow by stopping for a moment to cast a tech.

      iirc, bouncer also has a thing where you can normal after using two different JB PAs, and it’ll do something similar to Tbrust Drive. This would let you go in straight after a single Fierce Wave, since after Fierce Wave, you’re too far for anything besides Surging Impulse and techs to reach the target.

    Do you know what really percentage means for PP cost? When i level mine up it reduces percentage but still cost the same amount of PP, ex: 17 PP for helzeus coat at +20% and then reduced to +8% is still 17 PP cost?

    An update, I've found Quick Gash range extension is surprisingly useful. It's useful for maintaining whirlwind more easily since you can hit from a nice distance, but also if you have groups of enemies, that range extension will suck up so much whirlwind power incredibly quickly from hitting all those targets at once. As someone using a multi with Double Saber, it's especially helpful keeping whirlwind when you're not using it constantly.

    I'm struggling to find a video that addresses if there is a point in investing in Techniques if you use Jet Boots.

    For Zan, you want to either go type 1 or 2, and only put one level into them, anything more is a waste as it only reduces PP consumption and you will only be using Zan during PSE Bursts where you already have limitless PP (this is also why you don't grab three, you will never be aiming to proc wind elemental downs during bursts).
    For which to grab, type 1 works best if the enemies are spread out to help proc additional gales, type 2 works best when the enemies are closer together as your charged Zan will be hitting quicker as it now travels about as fast as an uncharged zan. And since you have no control over whether the burst will be clumped together or spread out just choose the one you like best.

    Does increasig the PA tech Level also increase the effect such as attack speed?

      In most cases. The higher LVL you have, the less pp consumption you will have. Most of the main stats like attack speed ones wont be adjusted.

    Do we know how much faster the attack speed bonus is for the SB type 3?

    For the TMG Custom Pa, the Hail of bullets accumulation is pretty useless, cause aimless rain is used in situations where there's a pack of mobs clustered together and if that's the case, you'll get it charged up before the cooldown ends anyways. I was debating if the speed one or the range one would be better and in the end I think the range one is the best in most scenarios cause this PA's reach is sort of the most important, and the 20% potency penalty for the speed version with extra pp cost and the fact that you'll use that PP faster if you overuse the PA kind of makes it worse than the range one.

      It depends rly.
      I rarely do any mobbing and just boss runs. So the attack speed is really good when using the PA for movement.

      @@NoirNacova yeah, i can see sone niche scenarios like that for the speed type, but that's why i used "in most scenarios", cause aimless rain is definitely a PA you rarely have to use for bossing.

      Personally, I find the speed upgrade to be super useful for building up your initial Chain Trigger a lot faster. The speed boost is also added to the speed boost from Chain Trigger, so you charge up CT _even faster_ when already in CT.

      @@matt2centerback true, but I'd rather have that speed boost on PAs I'd really need to build up my chain trigger fast with... like bullet rave or infinite ricochet. Cause those are PAs you use in situations you need to build the chain faster. For most aimless rain use cases you're already building up your chain fast, and if you don't, it's usually cause you need more reach rather than more speed.

      @@HideNLooT I mean, yeah, having boosts on those _would_ be great, but... they aren't customizable yet, so we kinda just have to work with what we have. In this case, Aimless Rain.

    I honestly think it'd be perfectly ok if customs had no negative sides, at the very least on some of the classes. Some of them really need buffs.
    Also lmao not only Bo's custom PA is by far the hardest hitting pa among those that got speedup, but it also only reduced by 10% instead of 20% like every one else, and doesn't affect rain which makes it actually even less than 10%.

    As others have said you're going to want to use jet boots type 3, as it allows you to trigger the ability without other abilities. It's pretty sick too.

    This guy reviewing the custom pa doesn't really play Gu, atk speed type is the best since you need to build up chain as fast as possible. Makes me wanna question if all of your opinion about the custom pa are really accurate.

      For FO user like me I think type 1 Grants is pretty useful to have. The charged Grants has no tracking so on pretty much every enemy except DFA it won't hit anything, making it one hit attack means it's actually usable now.

      I've seen it psaid around that the most cost effective is level 5, the PP cost increase doesn't sting anywhere near as bad.

    I don't get the developer mentality of 'Kiss/Curse' ideology. Grant the players something beneficial, but give it drawbacks. Like, why have drawbacks? Why can't it just be limitless fun? It's why Diablo 4 itemization sucks, there's a rare Sorceress weapon that has a unique passive which says "Your Fireballs now bounce on the ground. Fireball Damage is decreased by 20%." Why can't it just say "Your Fireballs now bounce on the ground." Why the fuck do we need a drawback for something good? What the fuck???
    Kiss: You can now customize PA!
    Curse: You can only customize a few.
    Kiss: You can make your PA stronger!
    Curse: But you have to make your PA weaker.
    What the FUCK, SEGA.

      They should take queues from Monster hunter rise where u can have CUSTOMIZABLE MOVESETS and PLAYSTYLES for each 1 of the 14 weapons
