- After a few years on UA-cam, I'm thinking of finally starting to stream some games on Twitch! Here are my considerations, ideas, and what's holding me back...

Anyway, I hope you do decide to start streaming because I think you would have a lot of people that would follow you. I gave you some suggestions on some games that you should try if I wasn’t disabled, I would definitely do some streaming myself, but I think I would get eaten aliveonline and point of reference if you’re looking for a gaming chair, there’s a nice cyberpunk gaming chair out there that might be comfortable for you if you don’t necessarily want to stick with the pink.

If you do end up doing your twitch streams I wish you luck. I don’t go on twitch, but I do watch some channels on UA-cam that take the best moments from twitch streams and post a vid with voice over commentary. Some of them are hilarious.😀

Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth could be pretty cool to stream.
You also can't go wrong with streaming a FromSoft game (e.g. Dark Souls, Demon Souls, Elden Ring, etc.).

Hey Jay! Its dope to see you joining the game streaming community. I stream from time to time on twitch, kick and youtube at the same time. The games I would recommend to you is The Jedi fallen order series games. Since you are a star wars fan, i think you would like that. Also Ghost of tsushima.

You should definitely do it!! I think you'd make a good addition, and we need good content, especially now.
As far as what games, while I could make a bunch of suggestions, I can tell you what I've heard some of the streamers who plan for longevity will tell ya. Play what you wanna play. Everyone brings their own magic to what they do, and if you're into it, people will watch. In the case of some streamers, sometimes I have no idea what they're playing and some stuff they play I might not necessarily play myself, but I'll watch it and leave a stream on for hours, 'cause it's them, and they're into it, so if you do it right, you'd kill it!

Great idea, and also upload in segments to UA-cam as that is pretty common now. I love watching gaming streams or uploads on UA-cam of games I've played. I've found the most fun are games like Dead Space Remake and Alien Isolation. The Bioshock series is great too because the story is a great one to wrap your noodle around if you are in to more than just shooting things (though that is a big part of it too).

Idk about every streamer, however a lot of the female streamers only have going for themselves is their looks. You're so much more than that SnarkyJay. I think you should. Bc you'll add more to the content than your looks. You know your stuff and you're funny and engaging with your audience.

Game streaming and video reactions would be cool. Play-throughs of the Arkham series and RDR2 are a must. Throwing in some Spider-Man and Uncharted gameplays would be pretty bomb, too. Would you be interested in doing like cosplay crafting streams? Like chill creative sessions and how-to’s, or would that just be way too much? I just think seeing how cosplays come together would be super interesting. Idk much about it, but I think it’s a really cool skill to be able to create things like that, I’m curious about the process lol
I'm totally interested in checking it out for sure. The best advice I can give is do what makes you happy. If you wanna do streaming for videogames and think it would be fun, then I'd say go for it Jay. 😁

You might like Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (2013) & Rise of the Tomb Raider. Tomb Raider (2013) is on sale right now for $.4.99 at PS Store. Both games have similar gameplay like the Arkham series: Instinct Mode like Batman's Detective Mode, great story line, some puzzles, shooting at enemies and looting

It's great to try new things! There is nothing wrong with seeing where this road takes you and if you'll like it or not. Money you can always make back but you can't get your time back.
My only concern is that gaming takes up a lot of time and energy and you've already established a successful way of doing things with reviews and reaction videos. I could be wrong but although this new venture may benefit the viewers a lot more in many ways it may take away momentum from your higher purpose potentially.
There are two quotes that may or may not help you to think about.

I would recommend reading the entire poem it's short. : )
My take on that is that anyone can game and it is the road often travelled but no one can make the videos in the way that you have done them with the positive, truthful and unique impact that your creating. In the end I'm not sure and you have to make your own choice. Selfishly I would probably say go all in on this Twitch Gaming venture but the most important thing is to not take away from your higher calling. Either way all the best to you Jay! Good luck

FWIW: I am not a gamer, although I occasionally watch UA-camrs live stream games.
Other than the fact I REALLY LOVE flight simulators like DCS {Digital Combat Simulator} & IL-2, I have no advice.

I watch this gal who talks horror movies, Haunted Hippie, and then during lockdowns she started streaming on YT and they are chill, casual streams where she'll talk movie news, give opinions, or make obscure Top 10s and just get feedback and interact with chat. I find them enjoyable while I work. I know you've got your eyes set on gaming, but just throwing this style stream out there as a consideration. I'm done with Twitch myself but hopefully you have fun with it :) I'll watch clips on YT, though! I already do that with Asmon's and enjoy the vids of his streams.

Any FromSoftware game, Bloodbourne and Elden Ring being my favorites, because we do have to see you suffer. But also triumph when you beat the unbeatable bosses. Helldivers 2 because it's fun and you can play it with your community. And yeah absolutely 100% would support you on Twitch. You might even be snarky enough to get my Prime sub.

I would absolutely watch. A game franchise everyone plays and gets a huge following is the Resident Evil games. It get jump scares to you and people wanting to participate to help if you get stuck.

Cyberpunk is definitely a must play ! If you haven't watched the anime yet, go watch it ! Its set one year before the game
God of war 4 and 5 have some of the best stories and characters in games as well as a gameplay better than any other. I would love to see you stream these. Also Horizon Forbidden West is another favourite.

I would and you could try stellar blade which comes out on April 26th. However it will probably be a hard game that you could get frustrated with.

I've never streamed straight from my PS5, but I do route it through my PC so that I can add all those fun effects, overlays, ect.
