When I lived in South Dakota the temps were minus something all the time. I don't think these warmers were invented yet. Boy I wish they had been. I could never get my Sis there cuz she said her boobs got too cold... lol... these would have been nice!
@@robingreen67 you can make (or buy) rice bags you can warm in the microwave to put in your bra too if you can't get the hand warmers. I used to make them and use them back in the 80s. The new hand warmers are a lot less heavy than rice and stay warmer longer, but a rice bag was still fairly effective back then up in Northern Lake Michigan area. With the winter storm this week....got plenty of backups at the ready! Lol
How to dress for a Midwest day 8:00 am parka and snow boots Noon light jacket 2pm shorts and t shirt and a bathing suit for a dip in the lake 4pm sweater weather 8 pm back to the parka and snow boots
-10 is the lowest it commonly gets. It's usually between single digits and teens from my experience. However, one time I got school off for -40 so it can get pretty low
As hot as you are makes me feel warm all over. Here we deal with the cold and snow. But no hurricane s earthquakes mudslides or wildfires. Have a nice day Jay from Wisconsin
I wear shorts in the winter because I'm comfortable&I like the cold&snow on my bare legs and it feels invigorating to me and I shovel snow in shorts too.
You haven’t actually experienced cold weather yet. Wait a little! That cooling effect from the lake and the winds hitting from up north will do just fine!
@@agarrikr2996 yeah i go to the mountains of cali every winter and for me 0°F isnt too bad with layers. But its a dry cold there - not the humid cold of the midwest
@@randomentertainment180 Cali isn’t notorious at all for being a cold place. Minnesota is much colder, just wait until you get hit with the lake effect. This years were pretty warm, there is a reason the coldest states are those!

She could keep me warm!
I like putting hand warmers in my back pockets. Toasty bunz.

Yes
What kind of temperatures does it drop to?
Like barely -10 here she’s just being extra
It can get to the negatives, but that’s not common. Below freezing is the norm come January/February though.

lol😂
Nah you only need shorts and a short sleeve button up shirt.
haha
Start using normal measurements.
We prefer monosyllabic homey English measurements. That’s what Americans have good music. We have good ears
I'm in upstate ny and your advice was very helpful. I have loterally shoveled snow in swarpants and a t-shirt cos it was only abt upper 30°s
People have no idea what the cold does to the nipples. It hurts! So I stuff hand warmers in my bra 😂
You dont need to dress like that unless you are planning to spend hours outside.

AND? Always put the hoodup
Very accurate lol

I don't own a winter coat, not needed.
Dear cold people

You don't need that lol and I'm in Wisconsin pretty weak in cold you are.
You’re a better Wisconsinite than I am! 😂 Once it gets to 20s or below, I layer up!!
I love it lol good advice
Shorts all the time. Not a real midwesterner.
