You are really amazing making videos about how anime are made with classic but in digital please continue like this videos only ones make the doraemon video please im indian
Much much thanks man! Finally I finished this tut and learned a lot as a beginner. There is one question I would like to ask. If I fill an area with the wrong color but I didn't realize it in time, how could I change the fill color? It seems that I have to erase the strokes, redraw the area, and fill it again.
Wow how did I miss your comment 😱, all my apologies 🙇♂️. First thank you so much for following this tutorial I'm glad to hear your learned a lot 😊👍✨️. And for your question about changing a color already filled the answer is YES it's possible 😎👌. Quite hard to explain by words but I will give it a try. 1) in the material tab you need to lock the SOLID STROKE material to prevent selecting the lines while selecting the filled areas. 2) in EDIT mode with the "select tool" select the color section you want to change the color. It should have an orange outline when selected. 3) next go the VERTEX PAINT mode. By pressing "2" (not the numpad2) you will see the previous selection you made. Then on the first tool selected called "Draw" (the paint brush 🖌 icon) click on the green sample color just above to choose your desired color to replace. And simply apply by clicking once and moving your hand like if you coloring IRL. 4) the best tool for instant change is the other paint brush 🖌 with this sign 🔄 called "replace". Same process pick the new color then within a click on the area to change, it will instantly apply the color. I hope my explanations will help you. 🙏cheers!!!
@@tuat555 Hi tuat! I've just returned from a long business trip. Thank you so much for your detailed reply! Really appreciate it! I'll try to follow your instructions soon and hope I can manage them finally. Once again, thank you for the tutorial! As a big Ghibli fan, I'm looking forward to seeing more tutorials from you in the future if possible. Wishing you all the best and hope you're having a wonderful day!
Oh really? Do you have somekind of error? Normally you should be able to decompress then access to the blend file. Let me know 🤔. I think I should ask the question for other users who may download the file just to be sure if the problem came from my file 📂 🙁.
Don't worry 😊👍. I think the file is okay so maybe you're not familiarize with RAR file? Basically it's a compressed file and to be able to access you must decompress it with WINRAR. If you a don't have any decompress software on your PC, my file will look unreadable. So maybe that's the reason 🙂. If by any chance you can download WINRAR and install it, you will able to open my file 😉👍 and get my blend file 👊😁🌟.
please i'm really stuck at 4:21 cause i can't see the circle while drawing i can't see all the drawing tools just colored points until i press enter !! it really make it harder or me cause i cant see what im drawing andd i didin't found any solution i tried everything helllp please
Alright so I re-watched that part and I need to ask you something. So when you try drawing a circle it doesn't looks like what I do on screen? And when you draw the circle you cant see it when drawing but it only appear after you hit enter, correct?... if it's that it's probably because of the reference 🤔...but I need to be sure of your issue.
thanks for the tutorial i never knew how to draw vector like this , i have been messing around with greece pencil for awhile now and this is fantabulous thank you i am going to follow this but for my own project thank you
I'm so glad to hear it, thank you so much🙏😊! I've been going through there too 😅 doing trials, errors and sometimes awesome discoveries 😁. I made this tutorial in the hope to share and help others with my knowledge because Grease Pencil has so much potential and I believe everyone can do awesome things with it😉. I wish you all the best for your project, cheers 🤩👍
How am I supposed to follow when my keys are not like yours ??? I'm lost I reach 8:46 and I had to stop there do to my keys not being like your so how do I get around that sense you didn't explain it in details.
Hi 👋😃. So you reached the point when I'm showing the interpolation. Have you tried to do the interpolation yet? CTRL+SHIFT+E shortcut? I would like to know if you done that and what type of result you get. (If you had good or broken interpolation)... depending of your answer I'll tried to help you out...if I understand you are trying to apply this process on your own animation isn't?
Yes I did try to add it the shortcut and a shortcut not working with my keys it's like my keys are different from yours I try your shortcut and they don't work maybe this setup I have in my blender
Ummm nothing happened 🤔... Could you try this for me please : 1) be sure to have your layer selected on the timeline (it should be highlighted in green when selected) 2) on this layer, where you drawn the keyframes, grab the blue playhead on the timeline and place it somewhere in-between two keyframes 🔶️ (in my example there is a gap of 1 frame in-between two keyframes) 3) Now place your mouse cursor over the viewport (the 3D scene). Finally do the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+E to interpolate. Or do it manually from EDIT MODE at the top the viewport select > Grease pencil menu > Interpolate sequence. Or from DRAW MODE select the Draw menu > Interpolate sequence. 4) And normally by doing these steps you should get the interpolation automatically 🔹️ 5) My set up looks like this after done the interpolation 🔶️🔹️🔶️ (because I space one 1 frame in-between the 2 keyframes the interpolation fill the gap with one breakdown 🔹️) I hope this instructions will works 👍
@@tuat555 I figured it out some how but ran into a next problem the 17:24 when trying to arrange the color to put it in the back you said click A to select all the color on the face after locking the solid stroke , I did in the edit mode and when I right click nothing showed up for me to arrange it to go to the back that's why I keep saying your short cuts or settings are different from minds it may help others who have the same settings as your but it anit helping people with my setting well this is as far as I'll go then.
Sorry to hear that man. From what I showed about the shortcuts at the beginning, I've installed Blender with the default settings and only set up 2 shortcuts TAB and SPACE. I know there's a setting for the mouse click LEFT & RIGHT but I swear I haven't set anything as shortcut for this. So, if RIGHT CLICK doesn't show the context menu with the ARRANGE option, you may check in EDIT>PREFERENCES and see what your RIGHT CLICK do. To be honest I didn't expect that issue from you having different settings but it's fine. To get the ARRANGE option instead of doing the RIGHT CLICK, go to EDIT MODE > click the top bar menu GREASE PENCIL > and you select the ARRANGE option. Once again my apologies 🙏 to see you struggling with issues but known that I will try to help whenever I can 👍
Oh yes I just did it on purpose 😅 because I found, she looks more natural to look that way while running 😊. Whereas in the movie she's looking at the car. So, it's up to you to choose 😉👍
Hi 👋😃. No worries I think it's because of the viewport shader. To fix this all new to do is to 1) look up on your viewport window on the top right corner. 2) You should find 4 spheres icons 3) I believe on your screen the second one is selected highlighted in blue. 4) just select the third one for = the material preview. 5) And voilà colors should be correct. Hope that help you.🙏✨️

When you imported the reference image as an empty, couldn't you just use a reference image on the camera instead?
Absolutely! That's work too😁👌 much and better faster than my method 😉👍
