Wonderfully clear and detailed tutorial. Beautiful neat wire skills. This is something to aspire to do. Hope I can do it justice. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I’m so excited to see this, I didn’t notice it till 1am. But when I wake up this is in my to do list. Thank you so much for sharing this project what I see do far it looks like a great tutorial. With great tips. There will probably be an edit when I work this ✌️❤️
Blessings. Eternal life. Nicely done. Ankh thanks for the excellent work of art with copper. Thank you. I learned from the best. 😊. One love Afro G64 lamiert Park Village LA Crenshaw 😇✨⭐💜🔥❤️
This is so neat!!!!!! Somehow though... my frame wires didnt end up as long for the last step to secure the stone 😅😅😅😅😅😅 going to try to get it set somehow. Confused bc i thought it was correct measurements
We can start with the same amount of wire but if your arms and base are slightly wider or your bale a bit longer, then it can vary a bit, I always recommend adding a couple inches to measurements the first time. You'll get it! I appreciate you! ❣️🙏🙏❣️
Thanks Jennifer! I buy a lot of my tools and wire from Riogrande.com but you can find these Chasing Hammers in many places like beadsmith, eurotool, Michael's crafts, etc. Hope that helps!
I'm fairly new to wire jewelry making (a few weeks), and made some pretty nice rings mostly. I've tried to make this project and followed the instructions but for some reason my bends all come out uneven on the arms either one is too long and the other one too short, not sure what I'm doing wrong since I am marking my bends first with sharpie. Any tips? ty
I appreciate this question and reviewed my video... I could have been more clear for sure, here is a post I made for you so you can see how to mark the wires... Please let me know if this helps, there are five images. Thanks so much for reaching out with a great question! ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx3edbezQeXEQH3UqP2WzFY8C8-AM3m7bB
@@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry Yes helped a lot thank you! It did not come out as perfect as yours but it's not bad for my first time making it, looks so much easier to make in the videos lol. I got pictures wish I could post them up on here to show you.
@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry How do you get the half round so neat? I've been trying but definitely struggling with it! When I go to clamp it down it looks uneven and messy 😂
Half round can be hard to work with, it has a direction, so the focus will be to keep the flat side of the half round against the frame wires and the curved decorative side, facing up. You can sub with a weaving wire like 26 or 28 gauge also. I hope that helps!
Thanks, Judy! It's about 2.25 inches from top of the bale to the bottom of the pendant and about 1.25 wide. I hope that helps! Great suggestion, I should have put the finished size in there at the beginning. Will do from now on. Thanks again!
EXCELLENT tutorial! I have been intimidated by undrilled stones but I am going to give this a try!! Thank you for sharing!🤩

Can this work with an Oval Cabachon?
It should work fine with oval and rounds too, just a small shape difference up top, but the wrap should work the same.
How would you adjust this for a slightly bigger stone? Do i just add abit of extra lemgth to my wires? My stone is 28mm by 18mm ish 😂😊
Thanks for watching, your stone isn't too much bigger, if you added two inches you should have more than enough. Enjoy!
