JJ out there skating with his head down like he is playing roller hockey
Then don't have your head down...crossing the other teams blueline.lol
Sabres need boxing lessons. What the hell was that resonse
What a joke, that was an elbow to the head. Bush League. No regard for player safety. Replay shows it clearly.
Дилан окей это НХЛ не хрен в лед смотреть это про Петерку ну получил очень хорошо
His head hit hard on the ice when he fell
Mr Obvious. I hit my head hard too when I was born and grew a second one.
his head didn't touch the ice. watch the video

Good hit. Keep your head up bud
Keep your head up, this is the NHL

He had his head's up looking at the play
U blind?
not only NHL , in every other league too
No one keeps their head up anymore in the NHL.
So many stupid comments...
a tiny bit late there i think.
These commentators are so biased it is not funny, it was bad because Dillon pushs up and into the head of Paterka instead of going straight through with the hit.
Horrible call by the refs as usual!
False buddy
Love the hit! I also think the response from Tuch was about as good as could be in the situation in case of a fight, as he clearly challenges Dillon and drops the gloves first and well before reaching Dillon, and he raises up to the challenge as he should. Glad to see there was no instigator on the play and I would actually guess that there would only have been a ten minute misconduct penalty for Tuch for dropping the gloves and going at Dillon without swinging too hard, in case Dillon kept his gloves on for some reason.
This is what hockey needs.
Marshall Dillon reks again!
i mean he did jump up into the hit 🤷♂
Obviously interference
Clean hit. Bad call.
Stop penalizing players for good hits because the other player wasn't paying attention to the play. Ridiculous.
100%!! Doesn't help players grab their head even if the hit was nowhere near it just to draw a penalty. Sad state the NHL is in with physicality. They remind me of soccer players diving for a yellow card.
@@oifwarveteran He clearly got his bell absolutely rung there, clean hit but that's no dive Dillon rocked him lol diving what a comment.
The Sabres have no backbone. They need to change their culture and hire some real tough dudes. If you’re going to be bad, at least be tough to play against.
Put 86 in a wheelchair😂😂😂😂😂😂.
These open ice hits suck. They are an AHL thing. Most NHLer's pass on them. Dirty shit!
This is what happens when you take big hits and fighting out of the minors guys skate with there down don’t protect themselves and expect nothing to happen.
Way late.the play is allready on next player.
Late hit but the refs are goofs so good hit I guess.
До конца матча надо было удалять! Судьи в глаза долбятся!
Should also be 2 minutes for instigating against Buffalo.
The instigator is for when a fight is forced on a guy. Dillon dropped his gloves before Tuch started swinging.
Looks like he jumped into that hit, Pettersson in playoffs got 2 minutes for doing it backwards
All you guys saying clean but take of your devils bias glasses… principal point of contact was the head
The 5 min should’ve been upheld
This was the right call.
Shouldn't have been a penalty.
Keep your head up lads
Clean hit? What are yall smoking? 😂. Dude was super late and high, these are NHL players... if you can't pull back between the time it takes the puck leaves a stick at the red line to when he makes it to the blue line something is wrong... not to mention he literally JUMPS into the hit toward Peterkas dome.
This is literally as clean as the Miller hit. The fact you see them as different just shows your bias.
I'm a Sabres fan and I thought it was legal. It was a little high, but Dillon looks taller so it's going to happen.
Perfect call
Heads up!
Has his down, looking for field mice, the hit was clean, the kid won't do that again at the other teams blueline.....tough lesson learned 😮
Are you a Giraffe? Or how do see this as a down head?
How was the hit clean? Can you hit anyone you want when they don't have the puck? How stupid are you? There is no 'lesson learned'. He has played hockey a lot longer than you and is 1 million times the player you'll ever be. Please think before you comment.
So many dumbass comments on here...like no other NHL player has 'looked down' before, with or without the puck. It is up to the hitter to make the appropriate hit or at this juncture NOT make a hit because he doesn't have the puck.
Keep your head up kid, Dilly is a big boy. Clean 🎯
Of course those are New Jersey announcers...with out a clue
They were on the nhl network dude in Prague lol.
sabers wont make playoffs
Thats the most obvious thing on earth
No the sabers won’t , cause that team doesn’t exist. It’s Sabres butthead
LOL @ anyone saying suspend him. It was a straight up hit.
the fight= no winner.
2 min for interference = i agree he definetely played against the rules when i see also its interference penalty + he got also 5 min fight major penalty .
Toilethead indeed.

Absolutely the right call. All of you objecting saying it should have been a 5 minute major likely got your asses beat in your junior years by the tougher kids.
Your keyboard warrior tough guy act aside, maybe they are just objectively looking at the fact it was interference and there ended up being a head injury.

Wasn't really dirty, just a bit late though. 2 Min for interference is the right call.
Clean hit, man up, stop looking at the puck...
goon dillon with malicious intent hit JJ Peterka in the face, head contact is not a two minute "interference" call, garbage call by the ref, the goon nearly left his skates driving his shoulder into the face, so because JJ is smaller that the goon has a "right" to get away with head contact?
I know jersey fans are blind but come on head contact is head contact, enough with the cheesy excuses.
