My 4" concrete pad was 2" off level so before my tub was delivered I found a product called The Spa Level-R online. They custom built a platform for my tub which leveled it perfectly. There are like feet, or glides built into it which you just adjust and level. Bonus was it raises it off the ground as well, preventing any rot to my skirting. Only downside is it took 10 days to get but well worth the wait considering it was a perfect match to the size of my hot tub.
Do you recommend putting 2'X 2' concrete pavers over top of the road base or gravel ? I have a 12 ' X 12' gazebo I want to install for hot tub protection so wanted to use pavers on top of the road base.
Good afternoon, if you're using pavers I would suggest cement or concrete underneath them. I do have customers that have used crush and run and pavers but you may still find yourself having to relevel it sooner or later. Concrete is a more permanent solution. Hope this helps!
If you have an existing concrete pad, but it's only 2 1/2".. what would be your options? Would you have to remove the pad and put in something thicker? Or is there an easier option? Could you do pavers over the concrete?
Good morning, if you have an existing concrete slab at your home and it’s approximately 2 1/2” thick I don’t see a problem putting a hot tub on it. In my opinion your good to go as long as your not putting a big hot tub on it. Anything 8’x8’ and under should be fine. To be a 110% sure I would reach out to a structural engineer. Hope this helps!
can you put a hot tub on a flagstone patio that’s 4 inches of concrete underneath? The flagstone is not entirely flat due to the shape of the stone, but flat for the most part.
Good evening, I missed this! Sorry! Yes in my opinion you can as long as you have a concrete base 4 inches thick underneath. This will be a little tricky to level but it can be done. Hope this helps!

@@Misfits138-23 Good afternoon, I think it’s a great product but you can level a hot tub properly for quite a bit less. Hope this helps!
@@atlantahottubcenter Yeah, I had no appetite in "cheaping" out on this kind of investment... but sure, always a cheaper way, not necessarily better.

Can you elaborate on the shims? We have a 1.5” slope over 89”

Would you recommend 1/4"minus / 1/2" minus or 3/4" minus for a base
Good afternoon, if it was my house and I was pouring concrete, I would do a 1/4” slope for drainage. Hope this helps!
