"FREEZE & LIFT" - is what we live with let alone chimney caps! Nice job again! That cement truck looked like a bag of 'STATELINE POTATO CHIPS' & YES glad he did make the incline. Nice job on the PITCH - shows up well against the concrete of the hatchway! You must have done this sort of thing before, yes? AND glad you have help lately! Thanks for another. Sonny (Lift that wire!)
Nice job. Glad to see Colin still with you. He's learning a good trade and the value of having a good work ethic. Yeah, a good truck driver can make or break you so props to him too. Stay safe Boss.
Came out mint nice job guys ! 👌 . I drove a mixer one winter . They said I couldn’t get it stuck with all wheel drive . I said “if it has wheels I bet I can Bury it “ and I sure showed them once behind a garage in the sand 😂
Got to love those rocks I was trenching for a sprinkler system this week and hit 80 lb rocks 2 in under the ground loads of fun to dig up by hand rocks rocks rocks LOL
Good looking job Mike. You're lucky that driver had the nerve to get back there, so many won't. I thought you were going to have to transport it with the skid steer. I've had to do that before.
Can't stand when people say or comment pull the wire, look people mike has been doin this for years, I think he knows 😂! Company I work for, we are pouring a good size pad today, can't wait to play in some Crete, something about it, awesome work mike, thanks for sharing bud💪💪💪🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
D-Boss! nice little pad, cuttybones had it a little too stiff there, sometimes you got to soup it up especially with that sun gleaming over head, i ain’t running around anymore like a headless chicken when it goes off! beautiful as always and i like that big chamfer you got.
Don’t you hate it when the concrete has almost gotten away from you…. You’re putting in that last edger run… and a a rock rolls on you? I spend more time trying to bring up mud and fixing the problem than I did all the rest of the edging run! How much slope did you build into the pad for drainage away from the deck? Did you tie the pad into the basement hatch? Nice little filler job… done nicey-nice!
No I did not tie it into the house because the house doesn't move and this slab has to go up and down.. two different structures.. where the hot tub goes it's dead level.. slight pitch over to the left with a stair s come down
Hi..did you end up checking out the tooth buckets on Titan Attachments? I saw they had $100 off for $900 spent with free shipping still. Just trying to be a help because you mentioned about not having a tooth bucket!
I did see it not sure if I like the dimension how it's tall in the back and short in the front may not be able to see the cutting edge from the cab low profile bucket seems to work the best
It's the DIRT BOSS 😎 Y E A H Buddy On a new site prepping it up for concrete then BACK on Site 😎 for the concrete pour let it pull and make it PRE TTY Y E A H 😁 U sure do Amazing work Buddy 😎 a simple thing like that hot tub pad and U make it look Amazing TOP Class Work My Buddy 😁 TOP Class Work 👆 Done by the DIRT BOSS 😎 Y E A H Buddy Getting it Done NICELY 👍 REALLY NICE Job Done there Buddy and as Always Thank U 🙏 DIRT BOSS 😎 for the Great video 💪 😎 👍
How come pads for sheds and houses have footers and foundation walls that go below frost depth, but a pad for a hot tub which is thousands of pounds doesn't get one?
Colin might be a little intermediate when working close to you. Can't blame him his upper body needs to develop more that will happen with time and work.
Three weeks to pour a slab THAT size ????? I think you're slacking off !!!! 🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣 Over here, we never lift the mesh up, it is always sat on chairs before the pour. Looking sharp Sir 👍😎💪😁
The Boss knows!
The Boss gets it done!!
The Boss is not afraid to get dirty!
The Boss is the best!

💯
I love that vibratory thingamajiggy lol. Makes it nicey nicey.
Oh yeah
Back on site
Yeah buddy
I need all the tips boss! You do much color and stamped work? Saving up the $ to get myself a tracked skid....one day...
Nice video sir!
I used to do colored and stamped back in the day I did it for about 10 years and then stopped not worth the headaches in the Northeast
Some of the finishes can leave the surface slippery in wet conditions, even worse in the snow !!!
@@DIRT-BOSS Got it, that makes a lot of sense. Over here in the PNW, people love it, that is until they hear the price lol. Just curious is all.

What happens with the downpipe water? (That's Australian for downspout.)
They probably will extend it not part of my scope
Vibratory screeds should not be used in freeze thaw climates. Vibration knocks out the entrained air from the mix.
True story but that's the nature of the beast It will be fine
Hope Mr. Carl Karen likes the video.
I did.
Hahaha 🎯
🍆😎
How come you did not use the Poly for this job?
No need for Polly outdoor
@@DIRT-BOSS Thank you so much
Mikey Mike, Is it my eyes or did you not go all the way over to the house on that left edge??12:18. If you didn't......Why?
No you are correct You only edge edges.. along the house is not an edge we do not want water to seap down It would make a trough.
@@DIRT-BOSS Totally Makes Sense.....Thanks....As always....It was Nicey Nice!!

@@DIRT-BOSS I agree. Counterproductive if you can't see the the edge you are cutting with!
