What roller are you everything I usexa roller it sheds hairs, I prep the rollers by wrapping them in tape and pulling the tape off. Using epoxy rollers from ez epoxy supply still have hairs..

I love the leaf blower technique lol! I actually used a blow dryer while I was doing sample panels before doing our floor so this made sense to me! THE KIDS and dog playing was so fun! No we didn't have too. The home has no moisture problems at all. However, if you are professionally applying for customers, you should so that the end product is perfect and has the best chance to last as long as possible for your client. This home didn't have any signs at all of moisture issues, if it did, we would have. Also, we didn't want to go into that with this video. We wanted it to just be fun. If the current coating is failing yes you need to remove it using a PCB attachment on a diamond grinder. It just replaces the diamonds and PCB's look like stones. If the coating is still adhered properly, then you can coat over top of it by putting a scratch in it using screen. Give us a call we can help you. 1-877-288-1952.

Actually no! Epoxy is kind of grippy. Once a urethane is applied it’s a little more slippery. For the cold, heck no! Bare concrete is cold this is built up and feels amazing walking on it with bare feet
Is this suitable for a low traffic garage floor? Its primarily a storage building ... I have used epoxy to repair floors in van trailers (Semi Trailers) but I use the glaze coat to fill in gouges etc some deep.... I have also seen glaze coat used on industrial floors where concrete has chunked out...is that similar in strength?

How well with this hold up under harsh outdoor conditions? I have a covered outdoor patio on the ocean. It is subject to heavy salt spray and quite warm temps.
This is awesome, my question is though, how do you maintain a floor like this? Wouldn’t it become kind of tacky or wear down and have a kind of “gross” look to it after a long period of wear and tear
If you watch the ending we show you what it looks like months later. Alot of other videos don't show that. Actually it still looks brand new. You apply a top coat and it will last a very long time. All of our top coats are industrial grade.

It's very easy to clean, just use a light detergent. It's tough too, if you apply one of our industrial grade top coats, a skid loader with solid rubber tires can drive on it!

I'm a little confused. I used fiberglass resin and epoxy to make molds and cores for casting in my profession, and You always had to wear a respirator for the fgr, but the epoxy was not as obnoxious to the nose and throat... so we wouldn't use one. We later found out the epoxy was far more dangerous and unhealthy to the throat and lungs. Is your epoxy different?
@@spartanepoxies3798 oh my God.. You're talking about 35 years ago. I believe it was 10 to one.. Does that sound right? Kind of a battleship grey color.
We used it for the molds for running foam latex. Typically we'd use Ultracal 90 as it had the ability to absorb a lot of water out of the mixed foam latex. Hydrocal worked better, but it had only half the strength of the Ultra. Because the mold and core were epoxy, this created a bad side effect that ruined a lot of foam castings. The moisture turned to steam in the oven, and this would collapse areas flat. The molds were approaching indestructible though.

I believe they use shoes with spikes to minimize surface area.

Exterior use is tough. The sun and weather can really do a lot of damage to the coating. We do have other coatings for exterior use.

What are those shoes on your feet? They don't pick up anything or mark the epoxy as it's being laid out. Never seen anything like then before.

would this be ok in a sauna/spa area? Would it be too slippery if it gets a little wet?
You can put anti slip in the top coat, also maybe think about putting down a rug where you get out of the spa.
