Catching Beautiful Micros on the Panhandle | Florida Panhandle Microfishing

- This small creek was beautiful and perfect for microfishing. I managed to catch several species including some beautiful sailfin shiners (Pteronotropis hypselopterus), but my favorite was the lone new species of the session, a dixie chub (Semotilus thoreauianus). Another solid microfishing session here in northwestern Florida.

Nice fishing 🎣👍
Thank you.
The Dixie Chub… not to be confused with the Dixie Kong.😂 Those Sailfin Shiner’s were beautiful What a pretty day and location. Nice darter there, too.
Thanks. I don't understand why something like a sailfin shiner isn't more common in the aquarium trade. They're as beautiful as anything at the pet store.
