    Great Video. I would have freaked out and thought I broke it when the shock dropped down to the lowest position. I am super glad I saw your video before messing around with mine. Thanks man!

    thanks for the nice video,i have the same shocks like yours,im lightweight so i want it to make mine softer but i cant make it turn,can you explain what am i doing wrong?

    • @motoalley
      @motoalley  7 місяців тому

      Are you turning them the correct way? One way is easier to turn then the other. Try lifting the rear of the bike a little, relieve some of the weight will make them turn easier.

    So i still have the stickers on mine, the right says its at the #2 spot, but the left read way off 1 passed 5. So i kept spinning until it shot from 5 to 1, to set it to #2 to match the right side, now they match #2 both sides but the shocks are obviously 1 taller than the other. So weird. Should I not trust the numbers & just even them up?

    • @motoalley
      @motoalley  3 місяці тому

      The shock that appears taller then the other, is it on the opposite side of the kickstand?
      If so, make the bike as even as possible, or if they aren't on the bike yet, don't run shocks that are shorter/taller then the other.
      When the shocks are off the bike, if they are both the same length, they should be OK.
      The adjustment is just to add or lessen ride stiffness

    The arrow is to indicate what 'number' the shocks are set to, the stock shock has a sticker showing 1 to 5, so the arrow points to those.

    Am very curious I rode with my girlfriend the other day and noticed over certain bumps the engine would cut out but not when I had the clutch in am I over loading the bike? Thus overloading the chain and engine? A little help would be great can’t find nothing on forums 😊

    • @motoalley
      @motoalley  10 місяців тому +1

      If it happens when you go over bumps only, I'd check for lose connections or broken wires. Is there a wire under the seat that your girlfriend sits on?

      @@motoalley idk man it seems to not do it when I have the clutch in that’s why I was leaning towards to much load on the chain just kinda weird tbh

      Could be possible, if your part of the hondashadow.net forum you can post your issues and they will help you out. Could be something breaking the circuit causing the engine to cut out when the clutch is engaged

    At the 2 minute mark when you turned it and it popped and shot down is that bad and how do I go about fixing that or what do I do if that has happened? I have a similar bike and the same side did the same thing to me I’m just trying to figure it out. It’s my first bike and kinda learning everything from videos lol please help

    • @motoalley
      @motoalley  10 місяців тому +1

      I wouldn't say it's bad, keep turning it and it'll adjust up again, should click into place at each level

    • @motoalley

      @scotthall3961 you can do it on the ground, it might be easiest to get someone to pull up on the rear just to get some of the pressure off the shocks
