I was stuck w just hearing Plastic over and over... Felt like no other song would ever get close to that beauty... And boy was i wrong... I heard the whole album and felt entranced w every song
When people have asked me what my religion is, I've always replied, "Nature and the Cosmos". I now need to add "... and Moses Sumney". His music is some of the most soul-healing I've ever heard. I fell asleep listening to Blackalachia the other day and did dream Moses picked me up in a Maserati but then it was like a customized spaceship vessel. We rolled around town and certain skies. It was a cool dream. I'd never fallen asleep listening to an artist and dreamed them... alchemical. Magic music. Humbled.

Amazing, Moses have an incrediable control of his voice so he can launch from a very high pitch to a lower one in seconds. Just because it is KEXP it will be nice if he had a talk with Cheryl and share his inspiration in this album and his tracks ;)

Fender strat guitar with two humbuckers, a Moog Sub Phatty synth, a TC-helicon voicelive touch on his voice... Seen him use a Boss RC-300 looper, so guess that is in there as well:-)
In the intro to the first song he was using the looper in a Line 6 DL4. I also saw a Montreal Assembly Count to 5 on his board.
