Skip the Cigar Shop.. And $ave money by buying online at CBID & CPAGE. (problem solved).. all major name brands I stay under the $4 mark.. In a cigar shop they cost $11 & up
for me the best of cheap cigars are factory smokes. maduro or sweet. they have a distinct taste and are pleasantly felt through the nose. But you need to be careful with them, the quality of gluing is worse and the cover sheet is too thin
Backwoods are cheap gas station cigars but they taste like candy and you have to fight back the urge to out right eat them when you are smoking them. They taste so good.
All good selections Eric. My own less expensive choices would include: Warped Cloud Hopper and Corto Illusione Rothschilds Roma Craft Whiskey Rebellion especially the Hamilton vitola.
I agree...sadly the market is scant with 6$ cigar options...and these new brands...there are always "new releases" Its the same factories making different brands...and prices are always fluctuate... Heres the thing...all of the sticks this guy mentioned are okay...but I want exceptional construction...I don't care if all the binders and fillers have unique flavors...I want quality. Aladino Corona Natural 5x44 is a great smoke under 7$...and the tobacco/construction quality is premium. Taste is subjective, construction is not...tobacco quality is not subjective...budget cigars are often uncured or very green not properly aged and fermented tobacco. You can't age out a bad stick... I'm wishing a brand ambassador would step up and give us a good cigar at a good price with low cost packaging...but they are actually giving us high cost cigars with low cost packaging and cute "bundle" boutique bundles! Talk about shrinkflation.
Crazy times. Thats the price of cigars used to range from 3.50 to 4.50 a piece. Now they are no less than 7 to 9.50. Like the Drew Estates Papas Fritas
Love hate relationship with Charter Oaks..taste great but constant constructions issues. I have given up on them.
Same experience here. Too bad because I love the maduro Rothschild size.
The two best “bang for buck” cigars are:
La aroma de Cuba Baseline
Jaime Garcia reserva
New cubas are my favorite budget sticks. Charter oaks as well. Very good.

Great info. I’ll give them a try. BTW, I like your selection of music. I’m a big fan of Parov Stelar, his group sizzles! 👍
Excellent selections!

Flor de Oliva is a fine cheap cigar.
Maria Mancini saved my bank account! I get them for 1-3 a pop at JR love them for that price!!
I'll have to try these three cigars. They sound great. I just recently bought Oliva 2nds. And, oh boy, they are a great budget cigar.
