Ever wondered what it would be like to live van life? Here you can see a day in the life while we're on the move and find out what its like living in a van while crossing the border of Mexico/US.
We are so grateful that so many of you joined us on this journey and tuned in to watch the entire series! It is bitter sweet to be heading home but we have loved this adventure and cannot wait to plan the next big thing. Who are we?
We're Eamon and Bec, a Toronto-based couple who live full-time in our self converted Sprinter Van!! SUBSCRIBE for wanderlust travel, behind the scenes of what it's really like to live in a van, and videos all about the yummy vegan food we make + eat!

I've enjoyed your series so much, and have watched every upload! I think a Canadian trip from coast-to-coast would be amazing! We live in such a beautiful country, full of awesome experiences/locations to vlog about. Though, places like Hawaii sounds niiiiiice.
How about west coast national park tour..RMNP, yellowstone, glacier, joshua tree, redwoods

People, as someone from Alaska, it’s not a desolate area. There are small cities and urban cities within driving distance.

I'm falling in love with you two! Two days ago, I typed "Van Life" in the search bar and clicking on your channel has been the best thing that's happened to me in a while. I hope it's not pretentious to say this but I'm really proud of you two as human beings. You're inspiring me a lot and I'm really thankful you're out there crushing it and living positive, loving, authentic lives together. I've been in a rough patch this last year. Getting caught up in American politics and our terrible social infrastructure has been pretty crippling but I'm starting to realize that there is still a lot of hope and today I'm finding some of that hope through your adventures. Feeling more ready to start creating some of my own soon too. Thank you for being wonderful and safe travels back home :) Love, Lydia

Welp. I almost just cried at the end of this! I’ve been following along for this entire series, love you both, love seeing the *realness* of your relationship and I admire how you handled all your setbacks at the beginning. Way to finish the trip!! You have inspired me so much - we’ve been looking for RVs for the last 4 months and this has helped me get through the ups and downs of the process finding our new home! We are so ready to get on the road!! Headed to Alaska this summer!! :) can’t wait to see what’s next for you two. PS. Eamon, not sure why people think you’re rude - I think you’re hilarious and it’s evident you’ve got a heart of gold. 👌🏽

Summertime! NFLD is exactly what I was thinking too. Hospitality was one of the best parts of Mexico, but nobody outdoes Newfie hospitality! Safe travels back.

Hey guys just wanted to shout out and say. I enjoyed watching your hello Mexico series. I am subscribed to both of your channels. I think it is really awesome what you guys are doing. My husband and I are setting ourselves up to travel soon. We are 42 years old. Our children are 22 and 17 so one is out and in college for business in Oshawa Ontario and we live just outside Sarnia Ontario. My kids think I'm crazy for trying to convince them to travel and live in a van. My son is hoping to live in Toronto when he's done school and Im telling him to buy a van. LOL, I watch all your videos more than once and now I'm enjoying watching your second van build with your dad. He is so cute and funny when he volgs. My husband and I walked from Mexico to Canada on the PCT last year raising funds and awareness for teen mental health for an organization called Cody's House located in Barrie Ontario. It changed our view on life and made us crave the adventure. Our 16-year-old daughter joined us and walked all of northern California, Oregon, and Washington with us. I think its great to see a change in you younger generation from the very materialistic type from the whole "keeping up with the jones" crap! You guys have it together and you're building something way better. I commend everything your are doing and would love to one day meet up with you since we are not too far apart. Keep up the great work. Would love for you to be a role model for my son who hopes to build a business in Toronto once out of college. We are still in the process of figuring out what our travel vehicle will be a converted sprinter or a VW...... my husband is very much into to old stuff. keep up the great work guys. Im not your parent but if I was I would say I'm very happy for the life you have built yourself. Happiness, memorial experiences and goals are what keep it real.
Found you both a week ago, Thanks for this Great experience. I have been paralyzed for 37 years so don't get to travel south of the border and I live in SOcal. Travel while you can.

I was so glad that you commented on nothing getting stolen and not feeling scared, there it’s such a misconception about Mexico being life threatening at every turn and it’s just not, I’m 9 years in and haven’t had a single scared moment or anything stolen. I think a
Asia would be a great place for your next adventure, I went there to visit while my daughter was working at river rafting and it was amazing sans the mosquitoes. There would be no language barrier in Alaska and I’m pretty sure you could camp anywhere. My daughter and son in law have some land outside of Zaldez and I know they would let you camp there on their property.

Question: Knowing what you know now about Mexico, what do you think the ramifications have been of Trump's anti-Mexican statements including the notorious 'build-that-wall'? do you sense unease when you travelled through Mexico OR resignation from the Mexican populace? How mindful have you all been on this as you have travelled through?
It’s hilarious and a little sad that I’m actually bummed right now 😂😥 I’ve watched every episode as you’ve been posting and have genuinely looked forward to “catching up” with you all each day!! I was chatting with max & Lee on insta the other day about how I’m strongly considering getting into van life and how I truly hope I can meet up with you all in the future. I’m currently in Des Moines, IA (feel free to pop over on your way north if you take I-35 through Texas!) Anyway, these videos get me more excited and motivated for the life change so thank you for that and for my daily entertainment and a little daily joy with your vlogs 🙏🏼❤️ Happy Easter!! 🐰
Because you have a Canadian MB Sprinter you probably don’t have to worry about ULSD (ultra low Sulphur diesel) and DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) like the US Sprinters. Our manual specifically warms about running too much lower grade diesel through the motor but apparently you had no issues?
How do you guys find places to sleep each night? Like just in random neighborhoods or at parks??

This was amazing! I went camping without reception for a few days and the only thing I was itching for were the videos in this series. I can’t wait to see you guys do this again, and totally 1,000,000,000% in India! Maybe hit Nepal, too. You guys are like family for me, love you.
Driving in India is Insane!!!! Also you have to pay taxes when you drive and move around to the different "states/providence" type places. It's insanely beautiful though!
I joined y'all a few days ago but I have catched up and watched all the episodes. What an awesome adventure! I felt really like being there with you and I loved. I'm already excited for your next adventure ! As for the next destination, I would be so glad to see you in Europe !! That could be a nice experience I think.

First off, I watched every episode, we found you right before your Hello Mexico adventure started. Since then, my husband and I bought a vintage RV for our family to live in (partly inspired by you 4, but also because we have been dancing around the idea for years). I loved every minute of it, and can’t wait for more videos!! Secondly, come to Arizona! We have more BLM land and more national monuments than any other state... also I believe the largest national forest (Tonto). We live here and love it and would love to meet you :-)

Seeing as how spring has sprung here in The Canadian Maritimes, would be amazing to see you all go throughout the Maritimes seeing the sights during the summer in a few months. Maybe start at around Cape Breton's Cabot Trail, throughout NS, then NB, PEI, ferry across to NFLD and back. There are so many beautiful things to see throughout the Maritime summer. Cabot Trail, black sand beaches, highest tides in the world in Fundy, longest covered bridge in the world in Hartland NB, the red dirt in PEI potatoland, we have incredible nature and some of the nicest and warmest people on the planet here in the Maritimes just to name a few attractions! (And yes maybe one of your hugest fans too hehe)
So stoked that you all had such a rad trip!! Can’t wait to see where life takes you next💜
I don’t know how long you’re staying in Texas before heading back up to Canada, but if time/your energy level allows it, maybe an Austin meet-up before you leave?👀😁
U should go north...Alaska, Iceland, Nunavut. If you haven’t been to BC, it’s incredible here, a lot of amazing places to see and experience on the island and the mainland

I’d love to you all do more in South American or perhaps since you guys went souththis trip maybe the MM’s could come north for the next one and do Alaska or maybe explore your own beautiful Canada...overland to the east coast maybe? Question: if you were to travel to India or Japan for example, would you take your vans? If so how do do you ship it and approx what does it cost? Is it a viable idea??
You should come out east and do the Atlantic provinces especially Newfoundland! It's so beautiful there! Nova Scotia is amazing too 😊
Next trip: Western National Parks - hit as many as you can! Then go up the west coast to the Olympia Rain forest. The possibilities are endless!!! PS - just received your chai tea - lovin' it!!

Enjoyed watching you all traveling together...something new for me to see as most only post their own travels. I think the biggest negatives mentioned were dealing with the cops and potholes, lol. I would be curious to know how often you had to deal with cops hitting up for money and how you dealt with it. Did they ever make threats to take you in or confiscate your vans if you didn't pay? That would be my biggest concern driving to Mexico. Safe trip back to Canada. p.s.- it was extra nice seeing Canadians and Americans playing good together and being about to enjoy each other's cultural differences. Couldn't have better neighbors!
