im not sure if you realized later in the video (im commenting this about halfway in), but the reason you had telescope and only had one tarot slot is because you somehow selected the nebula deck at the start, thats also why the card backs are locked

I was the first youtuber to cover the beta extensively back in 2023. I designed the On a Knife's Edge challenge, I was something like the 6th person to join the Balatro Discord server and contributed a lot there, including being a moderator, before the Publisher even came on board.
How did you get the full version, at the time of writing this comment for me it still says that i have to wait 16 hours to buy the full game? I live un cetral European timezone if that helps to explain anything.
