Nice run with those new rage, shield and drop rate. Last boss was a bummer having most monsters to attack when killed. Just a bad luck getting all of them at once 😀

i just noticed that ever row the wall goes down and 1 unit to any blank space also your next run win you get cards only do military not useful for resourses but the finale seem to be the issue so oo

I believe the sawmills and bridges count as extra river tiles, so there can be a point in keeping them around even if you don't care about resources. River Castles don't, for some reason.

30:23 Unless I'm misreading, I don't think the Shipyard has to go anywhere in particular. It cares about water next to the edge of the board, it doesn't say anything about water near where _it_ is.

I managed to get this in a random seed, tried it, but it didn't work. It didn't increase the Ante number, but everything else was basically the same as what happens normally (kept being "saved"), so I just didn't get to get a high score from it. Kinda sad and not sure why it failed

Good run, a bit rocky at the end 😅 I commented this under another run earlier, but I'm glad to see you utilize the "100% refund at sell" feature so well. Upgrading production early and selling it at the end to fund the millitary upgrade combined with leaving the last enemy building in reserve could get you the win next time. I'm in to see another attempt 👍

19:40 you have 21 attack, you are attacking a full hp enemy so your attack increases to 33 (because of the 3 spears that each give +4 damage to full hp enemies), the enemy has 6 block so their hp is reduced by 27

i got this game after watching your videos, and i must say it is funny that you can put the upgrade altars in your pockets, when i realized that i often started carrying them for a stage or two to get runestones to use them

Its definitely harder/more interesting to carve out whatever build comes from the hodgepodge of chest rewards - but, with favored relics I feel like I've solved it. Making luck every stat with bounty hat and lucky coin (luck is health and attack... and defense if you have enough attack) throw in fairy sticks for even more late game attack... kind of breaks the game - everything else on top is frosting

The shield you bought at around 16 minutes in, also increased your def by only 1, instead of 2.

Brother, you HAVE to stop uncovering stuff when you are in a good position.....Just let enemies that don't do anything sit there please.

Been playing this game over 15 hours. TBH, its not perfect, and for a roguelite, does feel cheap and unrefined. But its worth the 30 rmb I paid (Like 2-3 pounds) Tips: Increase your health, need over 40-50, I would suggest using Natural Shield and focus on Defense stats. ALso, you need some sort of gimmick, like bomb build or dagger build. The Rare relics, puppet (every attack you can gain 2 HP) and Vampire Fang work well. Also, dont be stubborn like me, just use another character, the starting character isnt that good compared to the 'Poker' character. I still havent even completed a run, After the 3rd boss it gets ridiculous.

Nice run! That second boss always feels like such a difficulty spike. The final area after is tough, but generally I feel like the bosses after the eyes are slightly easier. If you're able to beat the Eye boss, you're pretty much golden to win the run.

It seems like going for double stats from blessings is like… mandatory? Even with one of the curse emblems to offset the score penalty it should make the later stages more manageable.

you can "reserve" the enemy camp, do not build all of them

I think you got so used to skipping the vitamins you didn't see the synergy it has with your healing loop and dealing with your black book negative. I also think the bomb relic could have helped for a similar reason. even with the 6 hp damage u would take, the extra 4 attack would be a boon and ur healing could help keep u over 6.

Aotenjo: Infinite Hands is a Balatrolike based on Mahjong and it’s really fun despite being in early access. Maybe it’ll be something you’ll find interesting. I haven't been able to beat that boss yet. I think you died at the end because you only had 4 life and the enemy you kill had 2 parasitic eye so you lost 2 life per eye. Also, you need to kill with the Kunai to be able to regain life. Thank you for the video.

I'd love to see a build based on Rage, seems like it'd be super powerful.

You should probably kill the enemy who gives +3 attack when present before killing everyone else.

In builds revolving around using item cards the green amulet relic is a must pick because it gives you free items

The enemy you made friendly at 18:50 had 10 Attack because of its Leader ability: Gains +2 Attack for every other enemy present. When you made it friendly, all of its abilities were locked, so it lost the buff and reverted to its base 4 Attack. The other Leader enemy present also had its attack lowered by 2, as the now-friendly enemy no longer counted toward its buff.

Your biggest issue with this game seems to be your desire to hoard your resources, whether that’s mice, knives, bombs, potions etc…you often end up selling potions because at the beginning of fights you are wary about using them, from your other videos it seems like a similar problem, use the resources you have instead of dying / almost dying with them haha!

The reason you weren't predicted to take damage at 4:20 is because you still had a charge on the Inflatable Mushroom relic. The damage prediction accounted for the damage being negated. Edit: You got there eventually. Kudos.

One tip. You can take the upgrade/permanent relic cards with you if you don't have enough currency.

What if you make permanent something that would disappear after a certain number of rounds?
