I've been following you for a year or so. I'm from America, OKLAHOMA, USA..my husband and I visited Dunfermline in 1986 and 2008. We have family in Edinburgh and Kirkcaldy. I really enjoy watching your videos. Yes, Andrew Carnegie is very famous in America. I never knew he was born and raised in Dunfermline, Scotland; although I knew he was a Scotsman. I don't blame you for wanting to always live in Scotland. I would love to live there as well...We're too old to make the move now LOL...Good luck with your Unicorn Garden Services....

Really good video Derek. Well produced and great final thoughts. A few problems with dates but never mind. You said 1982 for the first union strike and said it again. And you said in the Glen that Carnegie was 4' 3". Nitpicking I know but it was a very good video indeed.

111 Carnegie libraries were built in my Canadian province. I've spent countless hours in the one in my hometown. Very few on this side of the pond pronounce his surname properly though, i know how it feels. Cheers, great video
