    After the daily bombardment of media, social media, emails, texts, and angry politics...coming here just to listen is an opportunity to reconnect to our higher mind and get centered. And to tie in multiple cultures respectfully and intellectually, man it's just a great gift. Thanks.

    I've always been frustrated by what I hear Sam Harris and Jordan Peterson say about Islam. They are very intelligent human beings and carry massive followings, it's honestly sad to see.
    Thank you for being the intelligent voice and model representative for our brothers and sisters Coach. Coming from Baraachit in south Lebanon, it makes me feel immensely proud.

    • @user-ic1lo9wh5f
      @user-ic1lo9wh5f 5 років тому +1

      Hearing Sam Harris talk about war casualtys in the middle east orchastreted by the US is the most terrible and ignorant thing Ive ever heard such an intelligent man say.
      There is a video comparing Abby Martin and Sam Harris and offcourse Sam comes up on top between those two. But there you can see a lot of the tricks he is playing in justifying the casualties concept by simply accepting the whole war in Irak and Afghanistan was needed beyond discussion and that all the damage that comes with it is also automaticly justified.

    • @hippie_4762
      @hippie_4762 5 років тому +1

      Always wish that I could. Because how I often see islam practiced isn't object-able by any means, most commonly a positive aspect of said people's live. But there is still many passages in the koran that are so highly unethical, almost downright evil. And even if most would never practice those, I still can't support a theologie build on such (partly, almost negligibly small part of) rhetoric. And I just wish those could be re-written, the wrongs denounced, without those weird cruel fringe passages. It would take away such a huge base on which the growing bigotry and nationalistic movements in our European countries are thriving right now.

    • @Dunted
      @Dunted 5 років тому +2

      Maybe so, but Zahabi dropped the ball on Islam here. Classic obfuscation techniques in play. I think Firas is a great teacher and armchair philosopher, but everyone has a weakness and this is clearly his Achilles heel.

    Ngannou will have his day... after DC leaves. And if a couple LHWs don't go up. I dont see Ngannou beating a bulked up Jones for example.

    • @paragon1782
      @paragon1782 5 років тому +1

      I think dc is a easier fight than stipe #2 for him. Dc doesn't have as educated jab and doesn't switch up the striking into takedowns as well.

    • @Dunted
      @Dunted 5 років тому

      I think Ngannou smashes through jones, I also don't think Jones will go to heavyweight while Ngannou is there, for that very reason. Jones is reluctant to fight DC at heavyweight too, because of the extra advantages he will have there.

    • @pauljamessquibbs.3945
      @pauljamessquibbs.3945 5 років тому

      Jones has huge advantages at light heavyweight due to his length and height, but that won't be the same at heavyweight against the likes of Ngannou.. Maybe if he bulked up on picograms he could out wrestle and submit Nganou, but I doubt he would want to strike with Nganou unless he wants a nice sleep.

    Did Plato having immersed himself in the wisdom of Greek Gods then sojourn for 12 years to teach lesser mortals, what philosophy has enshrined as being sacred, "one must live in order to philosophize" or to prove it incorrect when stated by the Orient, the fool who persist in his folly will become wise.
