This is a quick demo to show off some progress on Modern SA2's Rouge the Bat. A TON of sound design has been reworked and new lines by the gal herself, @CashlinSnow!

This mods Rouge design is excellent, i love the new stealth suit so much!!!! Also im not sure who's providing the voice of Rouge in this mod but she's doing a great job! A very excellent Lani Minella impression

appreciate that specific assets of hers also don't bounce around so much although I guess as a polish thing for idle animations for her ears to wiggle here and there is just an add on for realism. It's not needed though it would be real neat.

Hoppy and I are aiming for the full build to be complete by 2026. The v3 Trial build will be the last public demo before the full release.

I’m aiming for a release on Monday 14th October. I might have to delay it by a few days if I don’t have the UA-cam videos completed in-time though.
why's her outfit wrong
This is a question that i have been meaning to ask: will/is there a rom hack version for gamecube? Just cuz it would be more accessible and i would like this to just be a hack instead of going through the mod loader stuff
Nahh it's for the PC version only. This is impossible to make for any other platform.
i dunno man, first off the Sonic Prime design? like i think her Generations model is a good compromise between her SA2 original design and the more "realistic" look on 06, i do like the fact that she actually flies instead of just copying Knux's gliding, and the other animations are pretty well done, but im not so sure about that design for her tbh.
And no its not because i like her to be busty or anything, but if this is a "modern" interpretation of SA2 at the very least keep the designs intact, and that wasnt Rouge's design in SA2, although if this is just an extra outfit (because SA2 does have extra outfits after all) i dont mind it, but as the main design of her? nah im not seeing it man.
The voice is fine but i dont get why you guys also have to re-dub all the lines anyway? like i know they are low quality and all but i dont think its neccesary to redub all the lines and i dont see what it adds to the overall feeling of the game, more when its not even that close to the current modern cast since after all this is supposed to make SA2 look and feel like a modern game, but thing is that without remaking the cutscenes and stuff to feel more like what a modern version of SA2 would be like doing all the voice lines doesnt work all that well if they are still being the old cutscenes and such, so i kinda think its a bit unnecessary to remake all the lines, but that's just one of my nitpicks with the mod anyway.

You can choose between “Modern SA2” and “Faithful SA2” character models in this build, which means Rouge’s OG outfit can be used. I'll be showing this in the next big video, so keep an eye for that feature 👀
Custom VA because no one does this in mods. It’s my project, so I’ll do everything I can to make this a unique experience.

Now that you mentioned all this i have no issues with this actually XDD and the VA thing i didnt saw it on that angle really but it does make a lot of sense.
