I just ordered this today. You did an amazing tour and answered literally every question I had. I do as many over nighters as I can and use to do it in the little cheap 3 man hubs I'm gonna be living in a mansion in this thing this winter.

Great video!! I have been looking at Eskimo 5i , discontinued and nobody has it. So started looking at others and Scheels has this one in stock today. I take my two daughters and son in law and all though NM doesn’t get as cold as the north county I still want it to be a fun experience on the ice out of the wind with plenty of room! This otter resort is it and your video has helped a great deal. Bummer on needing another sled but can make it work. Great video!

Great stuff, I like the beacon and the lower windows. A lot more space to heat though so hopefully you have a good propane heater.

Awesome tent 👍great video on agreat product. I got 3 tentsof all sized but am going to buy the otter cabin next season my only other insulated tent is too big need a smaller tent that's easy to keep warm and look and perform good.

@@SaskFisher Uninsulated tents suck, got my cabelas supposedly 3 person shack insulated and I can definitely sleep in it but it gets cramped with 2 people trying to fish in it.

I just thought it looked a little better. Lots of features are the same. Im sure they're all comparable. BUT....I did have 2 guys that already have these say how well they are build and the insulation is amazing at -30 and they're in T shirts. Plus they said and I did confirm in my video how easy it is for 1 person to set up. Thanks!

What I use for the floor you can look in my ice fishing vids. Its those rubber kids matts that connect. They work awesome! Easy to put up and take down. Thanks!

I am 100% using this, this summer for tenting lol. Gonna be nice an warm! Yah it has the vents in the top for the heater in ice fishing season. Plus all the windows can come out. Should be great!

100% yes. When I did this video it was actually pretty cold. But just being inside it was warm. Insulation is wonderful on this lady.

For sure. I sight fished in it. Long as it’s sunny outside and clean the ice off around the outside so the sun shines in. But that goes for any tent for sight fishing.

Thanks! Won’t ever be a floor since it’s an ice tent. This isn’t an actual camping one, but if you wanted to, just get a tarp to lay down and should work good!

A lot of reports of poles tearing through on this years batch of Otter's amongst other things. Terrible customer support. I decided on the Eskimo650.

Eskimo is definitely better, I was going to get this but after being in my buddies I started seeing big flaws and alot of things that were breaking already.
What was happening to it?
I have seen Eskimo hubs with flaws, my otter similar to this one has been great.
