I second that, although still about a decade younger, but not many things have much appeal any longer. However, something like this is something to want, I agree!
PRS finally meets a true Italian competitor. It's a wonderful guitar. The clean tone is quite outstanding. Stradivarius is also Italian. Valenti Guitars is a brand to look forward to.
I own Valenti no 49 (purple Tele), Luigi is such an incredible guy to deal with and it's incredible satisfying watching his business take off the way it has, he deserves all the accolades as he is such a perfectionist in his work and you can just see the care and attention and love he puts into every single piece. He builds everything, including the pickups, and attention to detail is perfect 🥰
That is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful instruments that I have seen in very long time. Fabulous workmanship. You are a fine player, but I would have enjoyed hearing it clean with a touch of breakup like through a Blues Junior or tweed. P90 s thrive there in my opinion. Really not impressive when distored/fuzzed up but that's just me. Treasure that instrument as it is a work of art. Love the videos.
Absolutely gorgeous and, somehow, still understated if you're not looking closely. When you do look more closely, it's anything but understated. Beautiful. The neck alone is insane. And, the tone from those pickups is stunning.
One can see, hear and feel the love that probably goes into every single instrument he builds and ships. A true testament to pristine design and craftsmanship! "She's" a looker and a keeper for sure!
Thank you very much! This is my passion, not only my job. I really appreciate that someone could see it through my work only by watching a video. thanks again!
@@valentiguitars I'm on your homepage and watching the building process video. It's a joy to watch you while making these fine instruments, the focus and dedication are palpable! Here's to hoping I find ways to get me a budget for one such fine piece of art.
I was on their website. Beautiful guitars in high quality... I really like the work on all the details. These are just wonderful guitars... I put a red guitar on my wish list, it's the first model on their website...
Im a sucker for blue guitars! and that one is just stunning...the flamed neck was a nice touch. Thanks Darrell for the video and hats off to Luigi for a killer guitar. The question is though, if you play blues on a blue guitar, does that make it "bluesy-er"?
While I'm not a fan of the gold hardware and the little bit garish top finish, I can most certainly appreciate the build and the quality and the details. And I love that body wood, and it's a nice headstock shape. That's quite a nice guitar!
Kind of unrelated to this particular video but what would be a good pick up set up on a telecaster to play some country/rock? I play a lot of keith urban stuff! Thanks in advance! Love the videos!
Really liked the overall features and appointments of the design (similar to PRS semi-hollow). Wish the pick-up selector was closer to the neck, like on lespauls. However, these P90s sounded a bit thin.
One of the first things I noticed is that the humbuckers have a lot of space between them. I like that. Sometimes pickups get in the way when fingerpickin' or plukkin' the instrument. I like to play with or without guitarpick. Beautiful guitar great sounds
Beautiful guitar! The carved Nebula is a lovely design. I have two Valentis, but I'm now wondering if I should have gone for the f-hole... wasn't that much of an upcharge as I recall and it looks great.
Talk about "if you have to ask, you can't afford it"; Valenti's website doesn't even have prices. That thing is stunningly gorgeous though, no doubt worth it if you *can* afford it.
P90s with a whammy bar, nice. Black limba is from the same tree as Korina, or white limba. One of them is just the heartwood from the tree. Waiting on a Warmoth body that’s black limba with a quilted maple top (first time trying them out.)
Dear Darrell , for all those who make a serious decision to learn to play this instrument, one thing is certain, every guitar produces an sound in accordance with its performance, and this is called the color of the sound, SO THERE IS NO GOOD COLOR OR BAD COLOR..THERE IS ONE THAT YOU LIKE....OR NOT, SO THERE IS NO GOOD OR BAD GUITAR?! ALL GUITARS ARE LIKE WOMEN, they suit some and some don't... with a good amplifier and a good processor, I use the AX3000G KORG on my recordings, you can get a good sound, let's say this Epiphone SL guitar.. or I use Flight (Slovenian manufacturer, shape Les Paul) I also use Ibanez Gio GRG 121, also Stagg shape Stratocaster, produced in 1995, they all sound great, depending on the purpose for which song I want to use them. All guitars has a great sound and with good parameters it can be used as a professional instrument , best regards from Edy ..and all the best in your future work
Damn. Incredible craftsmanship. The heel joint was perfection. Not sure why more wouldn’t do flush back plates. Seems like a no brainer feature. Be cooler carbon fiber though. Trick bits make all the difference
I’m lucky enough to own a Valenti Tanos (telecaster) semi hollow with a maple top and black limba body. It is a gorgeous guitar. I went for a P90 neck and split humbucker bridge. It is a phenomenal guitar. His work is absolutely first-rate. ❤️
That is a gorgeous guitar...in both sound and looks!! I followed the link and more beautiful guitars, but no prices. I guess this is one of those things that, if you have to ask, that's probably the first sign that you can't afford it.
While I love the sound of P-90's, I've never seen any that didn't look absolutely, positively hideous, until now. Those gold-colored/plated pups look fabulous!
Another great video. When you get around to doing another affordable guitar video. An interesting brand would be Volgoa. Seen some good and some bad reviews. Would be interesting to get your opinion.
Pricing seem very competitive with high end prs and Gibson. In some cases more affordable than custom prs and Gibson but having what appears to be superior quality. Beautiful instrument indeed.
That's a pretty awesome guitar. It's sound is sort of polite for P90's, but I don't mean that in a bad way. I liked the sound of it quite a bit, it just wasn't as snarly as I expected when I saw the two p90 set up. Almost as if the pickups knew they were on a very classy guitar, and had to behave themselves. Guaranteed out of my price range, but a stunning guitar.
Polite. What a great description. I was thinking they didn’t sound as dangerous as a lot of p90s. Probably the magnet and pot choice. Sounds fantastic.
thank you for your nice words! I personally make the pickups on every guitar I make, so I would like to give you some insights on these: they are extremely dynamic and go where you ask them to. if you play hard, they tend to crunch very easly and scream loud, whilst if you have more of a gentle touch, they smooth out and become very polite, as you noticed! Little trivia: they are based on an original set from a '57 Les Paul I have had the pleasure and honour to restore; I just made tham a bit more modern.
@@valentiguitars Thanks for the insight. The guitar is brilliant! I founded a little known guitar company in 2009 called Flatline Guitars here in the US and P90’s were core to my guitars. I was instantly drawn to your guitar because of the p90s and then the beautiful wood and finishing work. Your craftsmanship is stunning!
@Valenti Guitars Very nice to hear direct from the source on the topic. Your skill as a luthier shows in every detail of those guitars, I wish you great success with your line.
Beautiful. The problem I have with guitars that look like this is I consider them more art pieces than instruments. I'm afraid to play them because I'll put wear on them. It's ridiculous, I know, it's an instrument, it should be played, but give me a "plain" guitar where I don't care about nicks, dings, wear, etc. Also, probably not an intentional nod, but I like the Kramer Nightswan'esque dot inlays.
It's BEAUTIFUL. It's so close to a PERFECT Electric that I'd just have to bite the bullet and fling my plastic at it and bring it home.. if I got the chance!
Wonderful skilled boutique builder producing a gorgeous instrument not just for the showroom garage but also can take it out for a tour, in the grand Italian tradition. P90s are a great choice, but are they noiseless cause they sounded pretty bell like yet with no hum?
At 67 I don't lust for much anymore.. but man, that guitar had me swooning....
I second that, although still about a decade younger, but not many things have much appeal any longer. However, something like this is something to want, I agree!
I think my favorite feature is the exposed natural maple inside the f hole. I think it looks really cool being unfinished or bound
PRS finally meets a true Italian competitor. It's a wonderful guitar. The clean tone is quite outstanding. Stradivarius is also Italian. Valenti Guitars is a brand to look forward to.
My thoughts exactly, @Senkim. PRS got some serious competition now from a one-man-venture.
thank you very much for the compliments and for putting me in the same sentence as Stradivarius!
Easily one of the most beautiful tops and I've seen on a guitar. The artist's eye and the craftsman's hand working in harmony.
Thank you very much! really appreciated!

Let me know if you played this guitar at NAMM!
Big question is DBG did you buy it yet??
Gorgeous!
Could you do the harley benton bm-75, it's a replica of Brian May's red special and I want to hear your thoughts on it
Beautiful guitar! It has two of my favorite things, f holes and p90s! I have to admit Im a little jealous.
What a guitar!!! Luigi is a maestro!!! And a very down to earth guy. Keep on building!!!!
They are stunning guitars for sure. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are exquisite!
I don't like PRS looking guitar shapes but this one is different enough that i LOVE it! That back and the neck!😍
That is one gorgeous piecof work!
I personally know Luigi: he’s a true artist and down to earth guy. He deserves all the best!
What a beautiful guitar. I think this is the prettiest guitar I've seen on your channel. I love everything about it. 💙💙

Love the placement of the dots on the neck.
Beautiful Guitar
Love, love, love that combined pickup clean sound. I didn't know you could get that smooth of a tone with P90s!
Hey Derrell, that guitas was really a piece of art. If I wasn't playing it I would have it hanging on my wall. BEAUTIFUL!!!
A beautiful guitar that needs to be played and not treated as a museum piece!
Absolutely gorgeous and, somehow, still understated if you're not looking closely. When you do look more closely, it's anything but understated. Beautiful. The neck alone is insane. And, the tone from those pickups is stunning.

What a lovely looking guitar sounds great as well . Looks better than a high end PRS
That guitar is beautiful, truly a work of art!
Hi Darrell, what a stunning instrument. Superb in every way. Pickups sounded great. Cheers ✌️🎸
That's a beautiful guitar.
I can’t sleep now
Just, WOW! BEAUTIFUL.
Your runs are so melodic and good. Very expressive.
Just glad I made my last order before this video 😆 well worth the wait, and the flamed maple back is always a pleasure to look at.

I’m not a fan of gold either. Bronze would be much better choice I think but that’s personal taste.
Definitely my cup of tea looks wise, have to feel it to see how it plays / and if I can make it sound as good as it looks.
That is one gorgeous looking guitar.
I would WANT to preserve that guitar, but I would HAVE to play it 🎸🎼🎵🎶

Fantastica chitarra, bravo Luigi! 👍🏼👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I hope someday I will be competitors with PRS Ibanez and Fenders lol
The neck pickup on Clean is gorgeous.

your opening solo is so amazing and so this beautiful guitar. yeah perfect in tone and look.
Wow, it seems perfect as it is and sounds!!!
Classy, top notch, jaw dropping instrument, oh and it sounds as amazing, as it looks. Congrats, cheers.
Beautiful even f holes finish was incredible.

Sheer Perfection! This instrument leaves me speechless.
Very nice guitar DB! Sweet cleans!
