Nice work bro. I really came for the chords but its always good to see another producers workflow on Sonar instead the other DAWS. Bandlab really took this to the next level with the most recent update and the Mix down as stems option in the upcoming update looks insane!
Also as far as you know, is there a way I can display the key for each part of a progression above the beat the way melodyne displays it. I just want to be able to see the key once in a while for whatever reason I may have. Thanks again!
Not that I know of... You can add an articulation lane in the piano roll and name the sections the chords you are using .. Cakewalk does have a note reader.. its not that good so I don't use it but it's under the midi effects .. hope this helps..😀🙏🏾
I saw everything good until the last part, when you add a new instrument and set up IOTA Midi which I don't have it. How can I get it....? I continue choosing SI Electric Piano instead for the rest.
Yes you can use the link in the description to download Iota mini for free... I have a video to show how to install vsts as well.. ua-cam.com/video/UbkK6V5LYqc/v-deo.html Hope this helps..😄🙏
Great video! Do you know if CW had a piano roll fold feature like Ableton? I saw a tutorial on Ableton but since I use CW I would really like to be able to take advantage of that feature (if it’s available in CW). It really illustrates making chords super simple. Looking forward to your reply!
I will be dropping a piano roll video tomorrow.. hopefully it will help you out.. Cakewalk has a snap to scale feature in the piano roll bit not the fold option like Ableton
Chord codes no matter how many times watch stuff on it ,it still confuses me lol,(edit) my question progression codes how do you use them ? I hear producers talk bout 4,3 ,6 and I have no idea what they talking bout .
Hey to each his own... I dont see myself purchasing another DAW.. And then having to pay to upgraded it everytime they add a new feature or decide to add a new number to the name... Thats why FL as the producers choice is winning because you feel if I purchase this I wont have to keep paying to upgrade.. But Cakewalk took it one step hire.. Yes sir FREE.. You cant really beat that..lol.. Full fledge DAW with no limitations.. No tiers to chose from with different price ranges.. No need to ask what version you have to collab... And they are still updating the DAW there has been some really nice and needed addition that they did for free.. So is it better I dont know is it worth paying 200 to 400 to see if it is I doubt it.. Speaking of versions what version do you use of Studio One and what makes it way better?
@@XELOhh1 oh i feel you..this why before i invest into something i make sure it has the most important things i need..some things i can go without just like anybody else. but as a OVERALL daw studio one best on market
@@XELOhh1 you mean flstudio dont charge for NEW VERSION ONCE YOU BUY? ITS A DIFFRENCE FROM NEW VERSION AND PATCH/UPGRADE exame: 3.1.2 compared to version 4

Appreciate the content and the shot. This is so useful to those with beat block. I like this tip. It can be used by even those new to music theory.
Thanks... Just trying to help where I can... This method helps alot to know what your playing...😄🙏
Nice job! I like how you stayed away from music theory, just kept it basic.

You're calling 7th as 9th, 9th as 11th. Just bringing it up so folks don't get confused.

das Genuschel ist schwer zu wertragen
This is bogus. Too much floundering, not enough teaching. Really bad 'bumper music' in the background. Distracting all around.
