Damn. this guy knows how to do video. He knows what people want to see in a review. And follow-up videos for in-depth review. Dude, u nail it!
Thanks! 👊🏼
I keep it simple on youtube these days - I see a new video by Jake, I upvote.
Thanks! 👊🏼
Hi Jake, it’s me, the one that lives in Khon Kaen, then bought the adv 350 7 months ago and commented on few of your videos using my other UA-cam channel. This is actually my primary UA-cam channel the other one is just a second channel and I just uploaded POV ride to Phu Tub berk Phetchabun mountains using the adv 350 in this channel, it was and amazing ride and experience you can watch it to get more ideas about the place Gig probably knows.
Nice! I'll check out your video.
Holy shoot you actually kept the promise and compared all three. Great work Jake. Hope youre doing well.
Thank you! 🙏🏼

Your channel is the best source of information for someone who is thinking about buying one of these. Now I know I should go for 350, but the sound of the 750 is ahhh
Glad I could help!
This is maybe the best comparison video I've ever seen. When I first learned to ride I was living in San Francisco and I was worried about learning and shifting gears on the hills there. So I went with a Suzuki Burgman 400 (twist and go). After a year I wanted more power and moved to the Suzuki Burgman 650 Exec. Loved that maxi scooter. But here in Pattaya, that would be too much, and too big and clunky for the short little trips around town in traffic etc. I'd agree, the 160 is a much better fit here.
Thank you! 🙏🏼 Those big Maxi scooters are perfect for the US.
A very clear comparison between the 3 different capacities! Thanks
You're welcome! 👊🏼
i CANT believe Snow made a full model-series comparison!!! i bought the adv160 based on your recommendations!!!!! Although i went further by changing the front and back suspensions to the infamous Thai-made pinnacle-tiered YSS GT-X suspensions for the back; and the YSS front fork full upgrade kit. Beats my old kawasaki Z1000SX in terms of comfort!
That's awesome! I'm glad my videos helped you make a good decision. How has your riding experience been with your YSS suspension upgrade? Is there a noticeable difference?
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple you have NO idea. its a MUST to upgrade 3 things: front fork, rear suspension, both tires. you can tune the suspension to soft for maximal comfort from bumps.
@ Thank you for sharing your experience. I'll put the Michelin City Grip 2 on the ADV160 when it's due for a tire change.
I love these comparison video. I have the ADV160 in Pattaya and NC750 in USA. Definitely love my ADV160. Easy to maneuver in traffic and parking garage. Economical at 100 mpg. Doesn't get hot. It won't burn your legs like a bigger bike. ADV160 for the win.
I'm happy you like the videos. The NC750 is a nice commuter motorcycle for US roads. I considered buying one before I purchased my XMAX.
Love seeing Thailand in your video man. M planning to go this fall 🤞.
Nice, good time to travel here! 👊🏼
Hi John , 9 months on from our last conversation my blue 2024 350 has now clocked up 11,600 miles in all weathers , even got the little snow symbol to come up on the screen !! ( and my first speeding fine in over 30years )
Nice! You're getting good use from your ADV. That's a convenient temp/ice warning indicator to have. Black ice was always a concern I had when riding in the winter.
I love riding in Thailand; no tickets! 😁
Always thought it was my problem with the throttle control (jerking) with the 750. Thanks for sharing
You're welcome.
@JakeSnowLiveSimple have you gotten a chance to try out the Zontes 368G? Would love to hear your thoughts on that model. Thanks.
Not yet. I've had a few commenters ask about the Zontes. I'll review it as soon as I can find one.
Great video! I have the 160 in red also and I love it. Its a great bike for the city and in my opinion for longer rides in the area.
Thank you! It's the best small cc scooter for long trips. 👊🏼
Awesome video, I love it. I love your fashion senss BTW. Perfect for Pattaya.
Thank you! 🙏🏼
👍👍👍...would like to see the ADV350 in the USA
Me too!
Hello, thanks again for this very good, practical and enjoyable review.
You're welcome; I'm happy you enjoyed it.
damn you collect them all!! haha nice one Jake..
I've got a lot of motorbike love!
I really want the 350 but when I rented one to test drive, I just wasn’t able to get through heavy traffic easy enough. Will be buying a 160 soon. Wish they had a 200… Just a little more power would be nice.
Exactly!!!
@ I wonder if that add-on Yoshimura exhaust gives much of a performance upgrade. Gotta beat the Clicks off the line at least. 😅
I'd be happy with an additional 3 hp.
I feel exactly like you. If the ADV 160 would have just a little bit more power that would be perfect. There’s the Aprilia sr got 200 ( which is actually 175cc) but the seat is too high for many people.
I got a custom variator installed on my 160. Full throttle on a level highway, can get 120+ km/hr
Wish I had these Adv's in my country ❤
I feel lucky that all three are available in Thailand.
Another great video. Do you have any thought's on the PCX 160 VS ADV 160 ? The Thai's seem to favour the PCX. All the best. Cheers
Thanks! The PCX looks dated, and the comfort and overall ride experience are better on the ADV. The purchase price is probably the #1 reason so many Thais ride the PCX over the ADV, and there are many more used PCXs to buy than ADVs. When I began looking for a scooter to buy in 2023, finding a new or used PCX was easy. Used ADV150s were scarce, and ADV160s had to be ordered.
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple Thanks for your reply. I agree the ADV looks much nicer too.
well done. new models coming to thailand soon, u think?
Thanks! A few days ago, the sales rep at Honda Big Wing in Udon Thani told me the 2025 models will be available after March.
Hi Jake. Great video again. My fav has always been the XADV 750. If you could let me know where you hired it in Pattaya for a good test drive it would be appreciated.
Rob. Pattaya.
Thanks, Rob! I rented it from Swiss Bike: maps.app.goo.gl/6kv4qYx6zSubqsBv8
Hi Jake, thanks again for the great reviews and for replying. I’ve just looked at your first X ADV review again and I’m curious to hear your comparison between the older versus new model. I believe they tweaked the DCT on the 2021 X ADV for a smoother ride. Appreciate your feedback back, and keep posting great reviews. Rob. Pattaya.
PS. The rental shop is very close to me and I’ve visited previously.
@ You're welcome. The 2021 - 2024 model is much more enjoyable to ride than the previous model. The DCT shift points were the most significant improvement. The seat also sloped down towards the front, making riding distance uncomfortable. The ADV150 had the same issue that was fixed with the ADV160.
The new 2025 X-ADV750 DCT has been improved again. It now senses lean angle like the African Twin, and the abrupt throttle response has been improved. I haven't ridden a 2025 yet, so I can't confirm.
I love my pcx 150 ❤ it's great around town
One of the most popular scooters in Thailand.
Do Indonesia apartment prices next
👌🏼
I want the new 2025 adv350 model. Honda sellers try to sell me the one with LCD screen. What about topbox, crash bar and fog lights ? Btw good video.
Thank you! The 2025 350 has some nice updates. I don't usually add accessories. I like the look of less. However, if I owned an X-ADV750, I would add a top box immediately.
Thanks for the video. I also like Adv 350.
You're welcome.
My opinion, Get a smaller used 25k Click or Scoopy. Their smaller in town and then get a used gen 1 CB500x for 80k and you have a much better in town bike and a better touring bike for outside Pattaya than a 350. I ride with a bunch of guys that are on 350's, they just seem too big in town and not really great for touring. And buying a new in town scooter, people will bump into it parking, sit on it and adjust the mirrors to pick their nose, move it, etc. IMO a cheap, small beater is the way to go in town. Anyway, for 109k that a new adv 160 costs you could buy an excellent used 2 bike combination. That said, all the guys I know that have adv 350's absolutely love them so what do I know.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! 👊🏼
I have a maxy scooter and realized I like the smaller ones since they are 10x more maneuverable! Adv160 for me
The small scooters make running errands fun. The big ones make it tiring.
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple I am in SoCal and can split lanes. My burg feels really wide and long but is not
@ It's crazy that California is still the only US state allowing Lane splitting. Do you have the Burgman 400 or 650?
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple What? everyone should allow lane splitting!!! I do not want to cook in LA traffic and smell the gas of 69 chevelle. The 200, not a fan of it!
@ I agree that lane splitting and filtering should be allowed in all 50 states. When I ride my XMAX In the US after returning from Thailand, I think about how insane it is to sit in traffic like I'm driving a car or truck.
I have 160 for more than year now, great bike overall, but I always have butt pain after more than 1 hour rides😅
I can ride comfortably down the highway for about 1.5 hours before I need to take a break.
you should compare Click 160 to ADV 160 because the click is so damn practical in city
I did; check out this video. ua-cam.com/video/O4NgaDr8rpY/v-deo.htmlsi=P7uyG4QRQdMeXDa0
I have a Honda ADV 350 and next year I will buy a Honda Transalp 750. I want a motorcycle that I can use both in the city and on long trips.
The adv 350 is good but I think I need a motorcycle with more power because the honda adv 350 can't be driven more than 140km.
Even the position on the scooter is different, and on the Honda Transalp 750 motorcycle I think I will be more comfortable and less tired.
The Transalp would be my first choice for a motorcycle.
Wish we had 160 in Europe.
Wish we had the 350 and 750 in the US.
They've significantly improved the jerky throttle on the 750 for 2025. Also I mean, the 750 is a proper motorcycle, with proper motorcycle technologies including DCT obviously but also a stronger frame and most importantly not dragging an enormous weight on its rear swingarm. It's not a toy.
That's great to know. The 2025 models are not yet available in Thailand. I wish the 750 sensed lean-angle like the African Twin to prevent funky shifting while riding through corners.
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple Yeah the new 6 axis IMU in the 2025 model fixes that too. Same for the Forza 750 and the NC750X.
@ Excellent! Thanks for the info. I look forward to riding a 2025 model.
Adv350 or zontes368g ?
Best regards
I haven't seen any Zontes motorbikes in Thailand yet. I was recently in China but didn't have the opportunity to ride. I'll do a comparison review as soon as I can get one.
Hey, can you make a review of the Zontes 368g?
Yes, as soon as I can get one.
There is another One, Aprilia sr gt200 , alternative to adv 160
That's right. I need to get one to compare it.
Do it.
160 is the best but not for long road's.
350 consumption higher than xadv, because the automatic.
You expect a lot from the adv 350 because it looks cool, but everything is fake and cheap junk. The suspension is fake...
Definitely reduce the handlebar 10 cm of the 350 and the xadv.
Xadv heavy.
I have them all.
Xadv fun because DCT. And good brakes. Stability on the road the best.
Maintenance 350 and xadv is nearly the same price.
Many have no experience in driving which leads to high consumption.
I drive Average 25000 km per year.
The last bike that I want to buy is the new Ducati mono 689.
The reason very Light, power and small which allows you to better navigate
through heavy traffic.
Consumption also low...
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Ronny. How is your ADV350's fuel consumption/mpg higher than your X-ADV750's? The 750 engine is 415cc bigger and produces 29 more HP. It also weighs 110 pounds more than the 350.
Why do you believe everything on the 350 is fake and cheap, but not on the 160 and 750? Can you explain specific issues you have experienced?
What do you mean by "reduce the handlebars"? Reduce width or height, and why?
şehir içi 160 adv uzun yol için 750 adv :)
Right 👌🏼
The 350 is huge and beautiful but i'd take the 750 though.
👌🏼
