This reminds me of when I use to fall asleep by the washer as a kid at my grandparents house every time my grandmother did laundry 😊
I would lie across the washer and dryer while my mom did laundry listening to her and my dad's voices growing ever distant as I drifted off to sleep. Thanks for this bit of nostalgia.
My father would lean back in the reclining chair against the machine and I would crawl in the space btw the chair and washing machine and eat Oreos and milk then fall asleep Friday nights were the best to be in place for TGIF for the TV shows back in the early 90s
I slept on top of the washer and dryer it was so soothing to me

First my whites, t-shirts, underwater, socks ect. are pink. Thanks a lot for that. There is a reason why one seperates the whites from the colors. These days you have to use caution saying that out loud in public. Two or more dryer sheets usually will do the trick so as to not getting shocked folding them. Thanks

Estate appliances are made by Whirlpool. They stopped making these awesome direct drives washers recently. They still make top load washers with agitators, but they are not direct drive and wash completely different. If the washer ever breaks, which will probably not happen for a long time, just replace the part. Have a repair man come over. It totally worth keeping. These washers are built like tanks and can handle a lot. However, if you hear the flywheel banging against the metal, reduce the load. Whirlpool still makes long lasting dryers, but their new washers are junk that will only last up to 7 years. This washer will last decades. Today's washers are absolute crap.
Appliance Man600 I completely agree with you I want to get a direct drive again they were the best machines and I don’t have a a problem with today’s dryers just the auto temp and sensors that can come with them cause my sheets can come out damp but other than that it’s fine but my top loader is a 2011 with a timer and no lid lock so it’s kinda old school but not a direct drive.
