This is really helpful with my anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD and bipolar disorder. I just came out of depression which lasted 2½ years. It triggers when someone shout at me or threatens me.😟
I love the sound of the washing cycle it's very relaxing & remains me of the old washing machines like the 70's -90's

My personal favorite is, was my Grandmother's 1965 Westinghouse top loader. Nothing like the sound of an old time automatic washer doing it's thing.

when I was little I would always crawl into the laundry room when it was listening it was the only sound that could help me fall asleep mostly because of my ADHD and some very young trauma.

My new washer is the energy efficient crap and doesn't run like these anymore. you have to load first, close lid to start and the fuckin thing locks. It has a useless load sensor, so if u put in one shirt it fills the entire tub with water instead of a manual adjust of low, medium, high. Oh and you're suppose to buy those goddamn detergent pellets.
