Lowko, this is one of the most iconic SC1 maps. The Hunters I believe.
As well as big game hunters from both games. I'd say big game is more popular as the custom games juggernaut from sc1
Tbh I'd love to see more 2v2 and FFA competitive events for SC2. Could be a way to spice up the meta and game.

This map is a recreation of a famous starcraft 1 map called The Hunters. It was one of the few default maps that had a lot of players. In fact, it's kind of where Big Game Hunters came from because it was a version of this map, but with more resources.
This is bgh, not hunters.
Both are legendary maps. One originated from the other.
Thumbnail edit suggestion: you should put 10 red arrows pointing to mvp
10 arrows is a great idea and I think it should actually be at least be 15... but RED arrows?! Now that’s too far

The map is an SC2 remake of the actual Big Game Hunters map from SC1
Was looking at the map itself and its a bit of an unbalanced map situation for the different spawns. The top middle and top left are both essentially forced to fight for their shared natural while someone like the bottom right has their own land bridge all the way out to the middle of the map
@@alexsis1778 It's probably purposely made that way to force engagements, since yes resources are infinite but you are still dependent on the amount of bases for how much you can bring in per minute, guaranteed it can cause some problems especially with out a full lobby, but that is FFA in a nutshell, not exactly made to be balanced.
I used to just bing play this map in broodwar with my brother and friends. So many good memories. XD

This match was fun to watch and hear you cast it. Only problem and what couldve made the match better is if there was an extra 2 more players, since with only 6 players some of them will have advantages over the other easily with base starting position and by the fact the unlucky players will get overrun by the first then second players.
Man this brings me back. Loved this map and Temple Grounds and Trinidad. Ooo and River Styx. So many broodwar memories!

There is a reason to expand even if you have an absurd amount of resources; higher income. You can only get so much income from one base, expanding doesn't just increase the amount of resources you have available, it also increases the amount of resources you get over time.
Mule drops can make one base very viable. Except your stuck on 2 gas.

Before watching I gotta guess that Red and Green will last until late game because they have much more space to move around in.
Edit: After moving a further bit in the video, I was half right, In this case Pink was the one who lasted to lategame.
