Two questions: - Got any suggestions for your favorite matches or all time? - Some of the older matches (2010-2017) will be in low quality. Is it still interesting to watch those, despite the quality?
First of all, love your content! to your questions: 1. absolutely! I love the old layout and Maps, the Quality is atleast for me no problem! 2. Bomber vs Scarlett, alot of games with Jaedong (sorry, dont know the opponents), one of the longest games ever (was a zvz back in HotS), ForGG vs Stephano with the big widow mine hit :)
@@justind7151 not really. They are significantly worse versus stalkers, immortals, disrupters, and carriers, which are usually a lot scarier than archons and zealots.
I remember this map. I loved it. There was that one match where Serral. I think it was Serral. Had the infestor on the high ground and caught some retreating ghosts i think.
I forget which game it was, and it might have been multiple games during serral vs maru at IEM katowice, but I distinctly remember some PHENOMENAL games despite the 4-0

Maru's name almost got the victory. Stats could have won 20 minutes earlier, if he dared to snipe the only mining base of Maru, which he couldn't dare.
@11:00 and then right after at 11:53 then at 12:17 there are these bases with literally 0 offense units protecting them, why would you not leave like 5 stalkers at each base instead of moving them in after all your mining workers are dead?
You're absolutely right. I remember watching this match and Maru was leading in supply twice near the end. But Maru also played a little sloppy and threw away so many units. A cluster of 5 Cyclnes lost to a couple Disruptor hits in one of those first big battles on Stats' side, as well as two lone Thors caught by zealots and stalkers in the middle of the map.
Great game but honestly the commentators have no idea what they are talking about. Half way through the game they are riding Maru and saying carriers arnt great when they wee single handedly turning the game
Trust me when I say you have even less idea what you're talking about. Artosis has been playing for 25 years if you include SC1 and they've both been casting games for over 10 years. If you think this game was won by just stats making some carriers then you truly understand nothing

The carriers were super cost inefficient against mass cyclones and thors. It was the disruptors & immortals + stalkers that did all the hard work.
