Oh yeah, Hair Concrete was the first salon product I ever really used, and I looooved that stuff. It was the only thing I’d use for a really long time. I’m sad it’s gone!
@@TDMStyle I know I was bummed when it went away, then it was replaced with their Caviar style concrete (which was similar, but not the same) and then that also went away. Then it came back for a little bit and boom, vanished. I can find it here and there on ebay but for like $45.
Dang while I was watching this, I just started wondering how many subs you have and to my surprise you don't have even close to what you deserve. I was expecting like 500,000 subs or something but maybe one day you'll make it there. Keep up the great content👍
from a hair mask point of view, try it with the shehvoo oil cleanser. you will probably get more of a hair mask result from it if used with the shehvoo oil cleanser.
I like the oil cleanser (not quite as good as O'douds though definitely some good stuff) but I'm not a fan of the ocean clay. Wasn't impressed at all, honestly. Maybe it's just me but it made my hair a greasy mess with hardly any hold, and it left my hair feeling dry as a bone after I rinsed out.
Patrick Kendrick definitely left my hair dry after I put it on and rinsed it out but Wow thé hold is amazing it states all day but the problem I can’t run it through my hair without getting my fingers stuck but it really does has hold and a bit of shine
David Seihyun Jeong Haha the only way that would happen is if I win the lottery and have enough money to hire a team of qualified haircare professionals to develop it for me sooo chances are slim 😂
Hello! I was curious, what's your opinion on Lockhart's Medium Clay? Since I live in Canada, I have to pay a lot for products, but I love the brand, and I decided to grab it.
Hello there! I haven’t actually used their regular medium clay - the Fire & Brimstone one was actually the first Lockhart’s product I’ve tried. However based on that one, I’m sure the regular clay is just as fantastic! Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. I’m definitely going to try it for myself in the future.
I hated the quicksand from HDF, glad you brought that up and compared it. I can't imagine anyone using Quicksand it was very hard to apply. Love the Sponge wax tho.
Wow! Thanks for replying so fast! I'm kind of going for shoulder length maybe a bit shorter. I forget the actor/ model name of the guy that played Hannibal in Hannibal rising. He's also the model/face of chanel
Ah okay! At that length I’d go for a lighter hold product like a hair cream, as a clay would be too thick and heavy for hair that long. But while you’re growing it, it should work well for you :)
I haven’t really tried many, but two product lines that I think always deliver are TheSalonGuy and Baxter of California. Probably either of theirs would be good!
Hey man. I just subscribed to your channel and your videos are on point. You really do give an honest review I like some others out there. I have a question regarding ocean clay; if I'm growing out my hair long all around, right now it's about medium length all around, can I use ocean clay even if it's a little bit? Thanks man big fan!
Appreciate the honest review brother! Thanks for taking the time to review our product. Really means a lot! -dre
Thanks so much for watching it man, I appreciate it big time! 🙏🏻
Hey Dre! You’re a legend
Finally, someone else that used and loved Alterna Hair Concrete. I've been searching for something comparable to it and I'm going to try this out.

Yeah it sucks. And I feel like the ones on ebay are likely expired by now.
His name is Gaspard Ulliel. He has longer hair now. I'm kind of looking at his hairstyle from the picture where it's shoulder length messy style

what is the type of your hair? i do plan to buy this product.
Patrick Kendrick definitely left my hair dry after I put it on and rinsed it out but Wow thé hold is amazing it states all day but the problem I can’t run it through my hair without getting my fingers stuck but it really does has hold and a bit of shine
Great review Matt! Planning to review Chaptr?
Also great hair color!! Looks cool on you!
KingdomRohan Thanks! And yes Chaptr is on my to-do list. Waiting for it to arrive ;)
Hey Matt I feel that this product looks a lot like Cavalier Clay because I watched some reviews. Which one do you prefer?
Brian Kop I feel that Cavalier has a higher hold, but is also a bit stickier to apply. I do like both!

THE DIAMOND MINECART!?!?

TDM Style Alright, thanks !
Thank you so much!

Love the Sponge wax tho.
Yeah I feel you. Quicksand didn’t work well for me either.

Been waiting for this good video though
Jovanny Bautistaitfg Thanks!
TDM, will ocean clay will grow my hair because my hair is very shorter.
No it won’t. I’m not sure it there are really any products that actually make your hair grow faster - sorry!
Hey by the way, what hair styling cream do you recommend?
I haven’t really tried many, but two product lines that I think always deliver are TheSalonGuy and Baxter of California. Probably either of theirs would be good!
7:45 if you are in Europe order it on the slikhaar shop, like they are in Denmark it’s cheaper.
Is there any clay product that has clay above wax in their ingredients?
Diego Olea ehhh arcadian i think
Lockhart's clay, I believe
Definitely. Some don’t have any wax compounds at all, though most do. Two that come to mind that list clay before wax are Baxter and Arcadian.

Thank you so much man, I appreciate that! Yeah I think a little bit of Ocean Clay would work fine for you. What sort of style are you aiming for?
does it have better hold than baxter california clay?
Nah I think Baxter has stronger hold.
How would u compare the hold to hdf claymation?
For me the hold on Ocean Clay is stronger.
Is this a good product for thick and wavy hair?
I mean my hair is really thick and wavy, and it worked pretty well for me.
@@TDMStyle is this More of a clay or wax? Also it kind looks like cavalier clay
It’s a clay but does have wax in it too. Wayyy less greasy than Cavalier. The texture of the product is more like Claymation of Baxter clay pomade.
purple seriously man !!
Yup, it sure is 💁🏻♂️
Vid review actually starts at 4min
How do you straighten your hair ?
Đức Lh I don’t totally straighten it, I use a round brush and blow dryer to get it mostly there but still a bit wavy.
ocean clay or cavalier clay?
look similar
They are quite different. Cavalier is thicker, a bit stickier, and has a heavier hold.
I was looking at it as on fringe hairstyle look good but not on most oval faces it not looks good
How does it hold up against Claymation in terms of hold?
I'd say they are about the same in the hold department.
Review on P&P cream !!! Please.
The Alpha Man I’ll add it to my list :)
I love your channel a lot
khiro Saidi Thank you so much!
Nice
Which face shape u have
Oval I guess? 🤷🏻♂️ You’re looking at it lol
OME liv it’s triangular
Hello
Hair color looks super weird man
Not a fan of purple then? 😂
