Btw I figured out the whole "pinch" deal before this video. You're like the first person I've seen said to pinch the cranks. Everyone is like, "I pinch the seat", or "pinch the seat", and NONE OF THEM ever do that, even in the same video. Then one day I noticed something..their back foot was angled oddly.... They were pinching the cranks! Felt like it was a trade secret hidden by lies to "pinch your seat".
Right! Matt Ray was 1st I saw. The pros don't tell you all the little tricks that you need to pull it off they just give you a real basic how to they suck demarcus Paul Alfredo mancuso and not Ray are the best how to's
I have to agree with the title, definitely the most in depth barspin how to I've seen. Thanks for posting this bro, I have a new found confidence after watching this. Just sub'ed too, gonna watch all your vids.
I’m 6’6” wanting to learn this on my 24” BMX cruiser 21.5” frame.. is it worth spending the time to learn this on a bike this size or is it too difficult on a bigger bike?
Use the tip I put in the video about practicing throwing the bars, back up to a wall and pinch your seat. Use only one hand to throw and catch and do that a couple of times before you throw them until it starts to feel more natural
When I try and hop I can pinch the seat but I just have this fear in the back of my head that my handlebars will hit my knee or I'll go flying backwards and hit the back of my head on the cement. Any advice
Aird Bmx how do you hop high enough without sucking up the back ? You cant pinch the seat whith bent knees.. and I have an issue where I have to hold my bars firm to hop a decent height .. I cant let go of the bars in the air if i hold them firm.. 50% of a bunnyhop is in the arms.. how do you let go of the bars in the air??..I cant get my head around it.. can you help me out??
So to pinch your seat your legs are partially bent not completely straight, really focus on pinching your cranks and that pinch will kind of come naturally. It's a really scary and weird feeling at first getting used to letting go of your bars, try hopping and letting go with your non throw hand when you would normally throw the bar and give your throw hand a slight pull without letting go of the bar to get used to the timing and feel of it. Once you get comfortable with that give em a spin and see what happens
im trying to learn barspins flyout in different spots i wear gloves and somehow i cant let go of the bar im fully mentally committing but my right hand just doesnt come off the bars what am i doing wrong
You aren't fully committing if you aren't letting go, maybe try doing half bars fly out so it's more of a pass than a throw and get you used to that hand coming off
Is this the trick I needa learn after bunny hop? BC I needa learn more then that but idk if I can get up the ground high enough that I can do a barspin
I mean, You can try it out, but i recomend you to start working on fakies and then head out to 180. Barspins requires a lot of bike control and confidence so you need to start feeling really confy on your bike and the best way is to start with fakie and other tricks that makes you feel a Little better with your bike.
There is no video of your first barspin landed in the description :,(. Nice video! I still cant get barspins out. Love your channel, Greetings from Chile!
Ive wanted to try these but mentally Ive been so scared. thanks for posting this imma go try them soon. gotta get shin pads too

Yeah, most people won’t say to do that, but it is 100% the key
I have to agree with the title, definitely the most in depth barspin how to I've seen. Thanks for posting this bro, I have a new found confidence after watching this. Just sub'ed too, gonna watch all your vids.
I can already bar don't know why I'm watching this but I'd say that it really helps to learn x ups and pull up bars first.
Ya I have a problem I bunny hop and my knees come forward and I am scared to hit them
You have to get used to hopping and then locking you legs out and pinching your seat, that way your legs are out of the way!
@@AirdBMX dude u said in the video pinch your cranks wdym😂
You can pinch either your cranks or your seat it depends on what works best for different people

Subscribed just for your maturity. Not sure what's up with these riders these days with the fast talking and shouting. Thanks for the tutorial.
I still having trouble with throwing, I toss the bars like x-up
What can I do?
Use the tip I put in the video about practicing throwing the bars, back up to a wall and pinch your seat. Use only one hand to throw and catch and do that a couple of times before you throw them until it starts to feel more natural

Where some shin and knee guards and a helmet! I had the same fear, just gotta do it!
@@AirdBMX thanks man
Does anyone else constantly hit their knee trying to bar? Does anyone have any tips to overcome this thanks.
Nick Love Yeah me too but when I can I just lean back far enough
focus on pinching your seat more it will make you lean back more and your knees will be out of the way

Aird Bmx thanks!.. i can actually throw the bars in the air but not without taking my feet off the pedals..
ive been throwing them with both arms for so long i hate it, looks and feels so stupid but i noticed i do it on scooters too
im trying to learn barspins flyout in different spots i wear gloves and somehow i cant let go of the bar im fully mentally committing but my right hand just doesnt come off the bars what am i doing wrong
boojaman despite what you may think there is a mental block
You aren't fully committing if you aren't letting go, maybe try doing half bars fly out so it's more of a pass than a throw and get you used to that hand coming off
What to do when front foot always comes off after throwing the bars. Can someone please help, im stuck at that part :(
Is this the trick I needa learn after bunny hop? BC I needa learn more then that but idk if I can get up the ground high enough that I can do a barspin
Do them fly out
Alright thanks man

Amazing tutorial thankyou
Glad it helped!
Thank you
niceee thankssss!

Yeah switch bars, Oppo* short for opposite
I learned full barspin while sitting without lifting the front wheel...now i have to try lifting the front wheel
I try the "back wheel against the wall and lift the front one" trick but my bars always grab my shirt D:
S O U N D W A V E I've had the same problem.. I know you won't want to do this while actually riding but try tucking your shirt in, in the front
FlatWoodz BMX either that or cut the bars width down
fucked up my ankles so bad trying to bar, slip a pedal and roll it real nice. happened so much that its hard to throw em, only landed shit bars ;/
I'm to scared to throw the bar. Help plz
That's the hardest part, I'd recommend either wearing some pads or trying it onto grass. Just something to make you a little less scared to fall
Why cant i bus drive it i always throw it like x thing
Just takes practice man, try it out of a bowl and focus on your hands
@@AirdBMX i wish i can try it out of a bowl but unfortunately our country doesn't have skateparks
You can find a nice steep bank and grass hill! Those work too!
@@AirdBMX Thanks for the tips btw can you do a how to feeble crankflip video
Haha that I cannot, I do not like crankflips at all
When i landed a barspin my feet is horrible
@3:20 doo-doo bars
Dude I just wasted 20 minutes of my life. U didn't even say a word about legs
