I would like to get one of those clutches for my ATV. It has the exact same motor. It would make it easier on rough terrain because you can't go less than 20mph or your in danger of stalling it out.
@@AZBADBOYz you can still use the clutch, the lever will still be there and still work. But from neutral you can shift down to first or up to second without pulling in the clutch, and just gas and go. Also if youre already in first second or 3rd you can come to a complete stop without even touching the clutch. It works really good in tight technical terrain at low speeds, and the bike wont stall.
Your products are awesome! We have run it on two 690 powered cars now. Would love to see it for some of the other engine options out there for competition like the Kawasaki 650, Triumph 675 or CBR

They are great if you suffer from arm pump but require a whole new style to control your bike. Much different approach to obstacles. IMHO very tricky when it gets real technical.
Freaking love watching this thing shred. Crazy cool to watch. If you guys wanted to make it even more stable in the future you could probably extend the rear axle outwards, not as much wheeling but more stability and able to take acceleration better

You guys have really hit a home run here; the comment about having an RC truck that you can drive was spot on. If you guys took orders on making those, youd never be out of work. Well done.

If the lower shock support were closer to the swingarm pivot, you would have got more wheel travel per shock stroke, and at the same time effective spring rate would be lower because of the longer lever arm acting on the shock - giving a softer suspension.

You can use no clutch to shift with the stock clutch the rekluse just lets you stop and take off with no clutch motorcycle have sequential transmissions
You can do it with the stock clutch but having built a few motorcycle powered race cars with a rekluse clutch it is even easier and noticeably smooth no clutch shifting up and down

the old piranha. What a nice piece of equipment. The metal fab shop I used to work at had 2 of them just like that and we could do just about anything with smaller metals.
I think a 10-20lb steel plate on the front bumper will help soften the suspension + help with handling on turns and it would be dope if you turned the spare tire 90° so you can use it as a wheelie bar, just a thought 🤔but i love the vids guys everything you build is incredible keep up the good work👌🏼👌🏼

Maybe add a rear bumper/skid plate under the spare tire with two or three shallow fins/rudders to help track better while in a wheelie. Your builds are AWESOME!!
Those Rekluse clutches are great, I've got them in three of my bikes. Quality product. Try a TRX450 piston in that engine, uses a second compression ring. And a thicker piston skirt. I use one in my CRF450X.
I doubt you’ll see this but @grindhardplumbing what about possibly extending the rear swing arm a few inches to keep it a little less lift happy. I’m sure you’d be shocked by the speed you can achieve after that.
front suspension is sweet! i reckon if you move the upper mounting point of the rear coilover it should reduce the tendency to wheelie as much as more of the weight of the driver is supported by the suspension, rather than acting as a larger lever, creating a greater moment on the whole system.

Hey! How does it work? I'm guessing like a normal clutch pack with a kind of lsd sorta set up to ramp up pressure on it?

Strictly speaking, it isn't necessary to optimise castor for any vehicle that has its front wheels in the air most of the time.
BUT! When he have to adjust the front before the next wheely he can ! xD

You should make a 1/8 inch skid plate that covers the bottom of the spare tire so it won’t dig in

I guess you guys should raise a little bit the rear spring preload. You can see in the video that sometimes the shock goes all way down.
Preload is for sag. Spring rates are what need changing

I have three rek clutch’s on different bikes. AWESOME!!! Just make sure you set up and adjust it properly

Ever heard of Helicoils? You can repair stripped threads with them. Rebuilt a Caddy Aluminum block that I had to Helicoil the Mains. Worked great.
