So guys what would estimate a build like this costs to pull off? It appears to have a lot of fabrication hours. There must be $14k in hours alone. So $24k all said and done with a lot of tech deployed in the build.
This build is so well executed. Hats off to you guys. Super functional heaps of style. Not sure if folks truly appreciate what you’ve accomplished here. Really impressive.
Men, wow. Just wow. I love it. From the divorced tcase style setup for the 4wd that reminds me of my ford Highboy to the awesome rumble of that vtwin. Absolutely a masterpiece, yes you’ll burn the clutch faster than you would if you had lower gears, but at this point I wouldn’t be surprised to see recluse send you a free one lol. You’ve perfectly showcased how their product works and is useful in the real world to a huge audience and I’ll definitely be looking into one for my project. Amazing job you guys! Just amazing!

Low center of gravity, wide but short wheel base, a HUMONGOUS amount of power, great power to weight ratio, great and stiff chassis. Just a wonderful machine with god like craftsmanship. 10/10 well done
Hey, I designed the Jeep Hurricane for Fisher-Price when I worked there. Of course, my design was simply a scale down of Aaron Pizutti's work for Jeep. Fun to see what you've done with it. :)
On a quad you can bail if it flips. If it ends up rolling your head wont be the point of impact and you're not actually inside of a vehicle, much easier to protect yourself.
Many accidents or crashes have happened out on farms where the quads come out on top. I guess a lap belt fitted to the mini jeep would hold you inside the frame . As for the Neck ?
This thing is amazing. Thanks for explaining the Recluse clutch a bit. I didn't realize you could still use the manual clutch. If they weren't so expensive I'd have one on my WR450 ;-D. Keep up the good work my friends!
Al Youngwerth builds a great product! I ran 2 generations of his clutches on an old YZ426F/440 in 03 or 04. He updated my unit to Gen 2 for free. He always posted on Thumpertalk in those days. Damn things worked fantastic IMO. Oh and never changed the plates either.
I ordered 2 beer koozies and a hoodie. Just came in today and I couldn't be happier! The koozies comes with magnets that can hold a full beer with ease. The hoodie is extremely comfortable and stylish.
So how do you keep it from rolling away when you park on a hill (or with any type of force pushing on it) and the Rekluse auto clutch is disengaged? You guys are intending on sleeping in the trailer top tent so you need the the Jeep to be very solid.
Danny Montgomery thats only in semi auto bikes, clutch bikes don’t do that. But then again i don’t know because it has a rekluse clutch so It might be different
I think you guys have invented the ultimate Power Wheels/go-kart/shifter kart/mini-buggy/call-it-whatever-you-want. That thing is going to be very hard to beat without making something much larger.
@@BH5432 probably before going on the trip. @Whut.. of course yes, cause everyone has around 24K$ laying around...To get ATV like that for the drive train is 1000€ easy 2K for engine, plus everything else.
Awesome machine. I don't think I would be comfortable driving that in tech terrain though without a roll cage. Lol. All I can think of is getting a hot motor to the face if you flip it.

That is such an incredible build, and so capable. A credit to you. But, I would feel easier in my mind if you put some kind of roll protection, to protect your neck when you are doing the extreme end of the off-roading. I appreciate that it will affect the look of it.

That was my first thought... it is a death machine if it flips! This is my first video, so maybe it has been discussed before.
And they routinely ride it without a helmet. First roll over in this thing (not if but when) and one of them will end up in the hospital or dead.

That metal lug is to allow the slung oil to drip into the center of the clutch pack.
